I guess the fan made Wing Commander Saga or the upcoming Star Citizen are the closest we're ever gonna get from this. And since the IP is now in the clutches of EA, it might be better that way.

Don't call me a fool but think if Naughty Dogs finally made Jak 4. So ye... that is what I want for sequels... even though they haven't touched that serie in years.
