Their launcher starts itself in the background, and then shuts itself down with the game when you're done playing. It's literally the least of the problems that could happen.

it's a great game, this is an amazing deal and I'd recommend grabbing it and then finding another way of playing it.

oh I see now. was wondering why it would be there when it did not have more than 90% off in all previous sales. -92% price makes sense to add to bundled but why go so far back

It became Reduced CV on Dec 21, 2023, which is date of the first -90% discount, so it's safe to assume that the first 90% off is what caused it to become reduced, but it's unclear why.
