Just download Alien Swarm and call 3 friends... Also, use voice chat or Skype, so that you can maximize the pleasure when you play on insane difficulty

^ Alien Swarm is really fun with friends. It's at its absolute best when you have three friends and yourself in the same room or connected via Skype. That way you can communicate with your teammates quickly and you all get to hone your teamwork skills!!

+1, its a great game; unfortunately, there is usually only one populated server and its never full (at least when I play). More people should play considering it was free...

It lost me on the sixth hour of gameplay...

^this, I think people can't get into it cause it's different then other shooters (different in a good way cause it's fast and doesn't have that many hitscan weapons)

I had a Beta key, it was boring

I won it off the devs and after I got past the graphical errors I got a bored.

SMNC is highly underrated because of the match making issues made a lot of people instantly quit. But if you get in on it it's a really great TPS MOBA

Terrible lag always...really bad net code and no dedicated servers last I checked.

Spent 14,99€ on it,played 40 minutes before it went f2p because of the lag. Devs are idiots.

There is lag when the game forcibly choose you as host, it's the shittiest part of the game : p2p hosting sucks but I play it for free so I can't complain too much :x
About netcode, I don't know, I live on a island and in all games, the min ping is 230, most of the time I can deal with it and GCI is one of the rare game where I don't see much the impact of my ping.

I don't know have had any lag problems with the game.

Indeed, altitude is a great game, but I was not really fond of SMNC. I don't know, but the game is mostly confusing, it feels like a badly made spinoff of dota
