Not void. Infinity.

How is it infinity? No number multiplied by 0 can result a number different from 0. Thus, dividing by 0 is impossible.

Example:

250/25 = 10

25 x 10 = 250

250/0 = [Impossible | result is void]

0 x 15 = 0

0 x 250 = 0

0 x [R] = 0

The result is void, saying it's infinity means the result can be anything, when it's nothing.
There's your 6th grader fun fact of the day.

Now go back to school.

You are correct, it doesn't equal infinity. Saying that a number divided by zero equals infinity is an incorrect assumption. People think it equals zero because the limit, as x approaches zero, of n/x is infinity. But saying it is equal is not true. Limit and equality are two different things.

There's no need to be that agressive. Dividing by 0 can be considered a Complex Infinity... maybe he's just more advanced in school than you are.

Not too shabby. Though, 2 were private and one was a group giveaway, so those don't really count, right? Division by zero then?
