Awesome song, but I'm not gonna lie. I was really hoping it was peanut butter jelly time :3

I plan on buying a good camera before the trip. I should have added that to OP, for camera suggestions.
I'm probably gonna go with the gopro hero 6 :D

Be sure to hit up the Petrified Forrest/Painted Desert while your in Arizona, there really isn't anything like it anywhere else :)
And why no take a slight detour up into Nevada and check out the Hoover Dam? Then when your done there, you could go down The Strip in Las Vegas (It's less than an hour away from the dam)

Thanks for the suggestions! I've added them to my master list of places :D

Nice! The mid-western desert has some beautiful driving scenery, it should be lots of fun. Have a great trip!

A month :D
I want to be able to take my time traveling, so I've made it possible if it takes longer than that I won't get in trouble :)

LOL
I can see the thought process.
Grand Canyon National Park
Lost Angeles, CA
Yosemite National Park
San Francisco, CA
Eureka, wtf?
To answer the question, no. I had to put it into mapquest to generate the route I wanted to take. Nothing special about it :)

Eureka is a nice little city. Actually, most of the cities and towns you will be passing through are quite nice and worth a look-see if you have the time. The only place I would avoid would be Los Angeles, but if you're taking Interstate-5, you're going to go through L.A. On the positive side, they do have good restaurants, there.

When you get to Eureka, there will be nothing there. The show was cancelled by ScyFy (why they changed the spelling to this I'll never know), after all!;)

Congrats on level 10, and happy belated birthday.
Hope you have plenty of time on this trip - a few of those parks can take more than a day to see. My father lives in Montana (outside Butte), and I'm glad to see you're doing a lot of the northwestern parks (and Indian reservations) out in that area. I'd also recommend Glacier National Park, but that might be a bit too far north for your trip.

Thanks homie, and that might be too far up north. Depending on the time we have left during that section though it looks worth it to take the detour up. I love that there's a national park named "Glacier". lol

Thanks and bump!
Can't help with the trip, sorry :/

Hello everyone!
I've recently reached level 10 and my birthday was earlier this month, so this is a cause of celebration!
Celebrating giveaway (Level 5)
Cool, now that we got that out of the way, I need y'alls help. So, what I'm doing is planning a cross country trip for this summer. It's something I've been wanting to do for a while now and I've got everything already taken care of as far as accommodations/food/traveling stuff. I could use some help in the planning department though, as I've not ever been this far west.
Here's the route for the trip. (May load slow cause Mapquest is slow)
Here's a list of cities along the route:
The main goal of this is to visit the National Parks across this route and to see the Redwoods in the middle/northern California. Outside of that, I need suggestions/advice on some attractions to visit on the way to these destinations, as this is probably the only time in my life I'm gonna take a trip like this, so I want to make it count. So, if you live anywhere near any of these cities or are fimiliar with them, please share some advice on what to visit when I come to the area. :D
Tips and suggestions for general traveling is welcomed as well. I'm bringing books with me to help pass the time. :D
