Thanks for organising another tourney, Toaster!
The last one was awesome, but I'm going to have to sit this one out.
Perhaps you would consider me for a place on the waiting list for next time around?
All the best for another epic contest :)

Can I ask a question? I read your last post about this and I read this one. I must be blind cuz I havent seen it in either post and almost asked about it last time too.
But what is the actual duel? You say there is a winner and a loser. The winner moves on and the loser makes a giveaway for the next duel. But what actually determines who wins and loses? A vote? Do they play a game and whoever wins/gets the most points wins?
Sorry if this is obvious but thru two postings of this competetion, I still can't figure out how you win or lose. Thanks.

We are full for now. Thank you for the huge interest! :)
Now we start the applicationphase for our waiting list. If someone of the current 64 participants drops the people on the waiting list get his/her post. First come, first serve! If you want on the waiting list reply to this post!
Of course the requirements count here, too!
Thank you! :)

Hello everyone,
I would like to announce that the application for the second tournament of "Steamgifts Duel Tournament Reloaded" just started. And please, before you post: "Can I have invite?"... read this topic carefully!
The first tournament that ended a few days ago was a huge success and our first winner was TartFlavor
On his way to the top he won the following games:
Round 1: X3: Terran Conflict
Round 2: Papers Please
Quarter Finals: Legend of Dungeon
Semi Finals: Interstellar Marines
Finals: Legends of Dawn
This is the grid of the first tournament. You find there all private giveaway for the matches, too: Link
Grouplink
The matches run as 1on1 duels via private giveaways. This is the second SG duel tournament reloaded and it will start with 64 members. It will be in 2 Grids, each 32 Participants. The winner of each grid goes to the overall final.
Example: You're in the first match and you lose, you need to do a giveaway for the second match, and the loser of that giveaway creates a giveaway for the third match, and so on. The first two giveaweays for both matches will be created by the administration or some other generous participant.
Rules/Informations:
1: How does this system look like?
You can find an example of the grid here: Link
This is just a small example for 8 participants. This tourney will be bigger: 64 participants with 2 grids, so 32 participants in every grid.
2: How does it work with the overall final:
The winner of each gridfinal gets to the overall final. The loser of every gridfinal has to do a giveaway for the overallfinal. so, there will be 2 giveaway in the overall final. If someone wins both giveaways the tournament is over. If it's 1:1 a third giveaway will be created by the administration or a generous participant.
3: Who is doing the first giveaway for every grid?:
This time we have two startmatches cause of 2 grids with each 32 participants. Since there is no loser before the first matches I, or some generous participant will create the giveaways for the startmatches.
4: How do I get in contact with the people I have to create a giveaway for? / Chat activity / Time schedule!
I want every participant to be in the group chat when he/she is online. It is easier to get in contact with the people using the chat. Try to make your duels as fast as you can. With 16 matches in Round 1 this can take some time!
5: How to choose the game:
When you lose your match you have to create the giveaway for the next match. It has to be a game both people participating in the next match do not own! So, just saying that you only have this or that game in your inventory does not mean you can use it. Bundle games or DLCs are not accepted, even if both members don't own it and even if you have it as giftable copy. One thing we learned from the first tournament: It would be cool if you update your wishlist, cause people compare the wishlists of both duelists and choose the gamen then.
The people of a duel/match won't be changed because you have only 1 game in your inventory and no money to buy something else. Don't come to me saying: "I have only this game in my inventory and no money. I want two people that doesnt own this game in the match." I won't do that! Be prepared that you maybe have to buy something.
6 Changeing the participants because of timezone issues:
We already had this in the first tournament because of timezones and so on.
It is possible to change the duelists in round 1 and round 2 if there are huge problems with the timezones or some dueslist disappeared and other related cases. You can do that only in your own gird. It is not possible to move someone from the second gird to the first grid and otherwise. Matches of Round 3 and further rounds can not be changed! This changes are always are only allowed when I give my ok.
7: What if one of the losers disappears and doesn't create the giveaway for the next round?:
He/She will get blacklisted for the group and onto my blacklist. I will take care that he/she gets onto the blacklist of some other users, too and that he/she gets a bad reputation in other groups.
If someone disappears in case his internet crashed/pc died or sth else that is reasonable he/she gets time of 48h to come back. If he/she doesnt come back in this timerange the administration or a generous participant can do the giveaway for him/her. When the person comes back he/she has to do a giveaway for the losers of the round where he dropped. 1/4 of the people of this round shoule be able to enter that giveaway. If it comes out that he/she was gone cause he/she didn't want to do the giveaway he/she will get blacklisted, as mentioned above.
Dont use this rule to say: "Oh, I have 48h time to create my giveaway after I lost. I am not in the mood right now, I do that in two days!" If you can do that giveaway, do it and don't delay the tournament on purpose!
8: Private profiles:
If you are member of this tournament people want to know what games you own and what games are on your wishlist! They try to prepare what they giveaway in case they lose their duel/match. And please accept friendsinvites of other participants.
So, if you join this tournamanent make your library and wishlist are available, at least for friends! You have time to do that till the tournemant starts! I will add every participant as friend and check it when the tournament started. Not fulfilling this rule and you will drop out and be replaced by someone from the waiting list.
9: Waiting List:
When the application is closed and the 64 participants got chosen the application for the waiting list starts. The first on this waiting list is the first who replaces a drop and so on. I will do a new post in this topic for the waiting list. Reply to this new post to get your spot on it. First come, first serve.
10: When does it start?
When we have the 64 members I will prepare everything for the tournament.
11: Comment on giveaways you enter!
I guess this needs no further explanation.
12: Ok, I've read and understood the rules. Of course I will follow them. How can I join?
Application are closed!
If you have questions: Feel free to post them here! :)
So, we got our 64 Participants and have the grid of tournament. You find it here: Clicky
