Hi. I have a question. What if I choose the e-mail for recieving gifts different from one, I use for Steam? For example, I use xyz@mail.com for Steam, but will type-in zyx@mail.com as mail for gifts in account information. Both e-mails are mine and valid. Will I be able to redeem gift sent to zyx@mail.com?

I'm asking this, cuz I don't want to show my Steam's e-mail for security reasons and wish to choose another one.

The only information SteamGifts shares with your Steam account is your avatar, and as long as it's public, library and wishlist. Your email is separate. You also could choose a username upon registering.

It didn't work for me though... My steamgifts email was different than the steam one, and when I clicked redeem gift after winning here, nothing happened....

The site doesn't send you the gift, the submitter sends you the gift. They are given your email by the website to send you the gift or they can click through directly to your Steam profile to send you the gift over Steam.
