Update and some Info (Bump!):
We just did our first meetup, there will be another meetup on this Saturday for people who were not able to join the first one.
It was mostly just the introductions and talking about the learning materials.

So I was kinda wondering, could I join but mostly just as an "observer" kinda? I'm mostly interested in the Discord server to see how this project progresses (and probably not really participate that much) - Nosey, I know. Just curious what are the requirements to join. :P

Well, maybe a desire to learn Japanese and being able to speak English at a basic level also being able to use discord and steam. That's pretty much all I guess.
Edit: As for your question about joining, only shinbun can answer that I guess. Sorry, I tried to answer your question about the requirements even though you didn't ask me.

I don't speak Japanese. Do you speak english. I'm sorry. Thank you. What is this. How to go to the toilet. Good morning/day/evening.
Something like that.) I don't watch anime so often, but already know some words.)
It is fun to learn languages.) By the way, english is not my native leanguage.)

OK, some comments about the test:
If you add 'tenten' (〃) to hiragana ち, it will become 'ZI'.
Could be ZI or JI depending on which romaji system you are using.
を can be read as 'WO' or 'O'.
If you mean pronunciation, 'O' is what you will hear most of the time.
Choose hiragana to make the word 'ZETSUBO'.
絶望 should be ぜつぼう (Zetsubou)
Choose hiragana to make the word 'RASHOMON'
羅生門 should be らしょうもん (Rashoumon).

First of all thank you for taking the test :)
Thank you for pointing out these parts too. I will make better test in the future.
EDIT: I fixed the the 'ZI' question.

Coming from this i had an idea to make steamgroup or maybe a discussion in SG for fellow gamers to learn japanese. Will have discord for group member to encourage speaking in japanese without being shy or fear. Any level of japanese is welcome. It will be a place to learn together, so anyone can be a teacher and anyone can be a student. It's a rough idea but hopefully it will turn better as things goes on. If anyone interested, comment below. If there are enough people i will start this group :D. Mind you, you don't have to be good in english too as english is not my first language.
UPDATE May 15 2018
I think we already have enough people to start this project (yay :D). I will create a steam group and invite them to discuss further about this project. This discussion will still be open for anyone interested in learning japanese and to post future update.
In the meantime, here's
somethingwhile waiting :)I have made steam group. For now it will only be by invite. Thank you.
UPDATE May 27 2018
We're going to held our first discord meetup on May 31 2018. It will be about introduction and discussing about materials and methods that we will use to learn.
UPDATE June 1 2018
After having our first meetup we decided to have short course every Monday and Wednesday, and Speaking meetup (practice) for Thursday and Saturday. Our first goal will be learning hiragana and katakana for this month. So, if anyone want to join it will be a perfect time to do so. :D
UPDATE June 9 2018
We just completed hiragana and there is a test for it. You can also take the test here.
