Hey you all!
First of all, yes, there is a small train in this thread. I have a good reason for it: an email which I received today. USIS is going to compensate me for 17,5 million $ for something (I haven't been scammed before so I don't know about that part in the message...). I just need to send them some money for legal fees, not a big deal. The whole message is added to this thread so you can all wish me some luck! And this couldn't be a scam since they honestly tell me not to send money for same kind of hoaxes :)

Ticket to the train but you may need to do something to the link, damn you bots.
Also some party music from LukHash.

Thank you very much!

One time, my grandmother got suckered by one of those "Windows" employees who want remote access to her computer to "fix" it. She's not very smart, so she did what he said. Her saving grace was that, as I mentioned, she's not very smart--so she couldn't figure out how to actually do what he said. XD So although I had to do some deep cleaning on her PC to clear out everything she'd installed, nothing actually happened in the end besides wasting both our time. It took me four hours to scour every folder in her computer for traces, and then run several malware scanners just for good measure, and I made her sit there and watch me the entire time in hopes that it'd teach her not to listen to people calling about the computer.

...Didn't stop her from almost getting suckered again last week. I'm not sure how the conversation went, but they set up an appointment for him to call again on a day that was conveniently when I'd be there. So he called, my grandmother gave me the phone, he said, "Hello, I'm calling about your computer" in an Indian accent, and I said, "Screw off, scammer," and hung up. Was kind of a ballsy move for me because I'm very shy. In retrospect I should have kept him on the phone longer just to waste his time but I'd been having flashbacks to those four hours and was already fed up with him before he even called. :P

Well, I'm a prince from Nigeria and three years ago my bank account was blocked and the bank management demanded 2000$ to open it back again. Since I am an introvert, and don't know anyone because of that, I just sent emails to everyone I could find from the Internet. Sadly, no one ever send me the money because they think I'm a scammer, even though I promised them 5% of my wealth in the bank account, which is approximately 5.000.000 USD.

Kindly your good guy,
King Muhammad ze Third 🤤

Nice little train. As for the question at the end regarding scams... uh... I've been lucky in that regard. Worst that ever happened was back when I was... 10 or 12 or something like that a 'friend' (he was actually a bit of a jackass) wanted to trade one of my uncommon (or rare I forget which) Pokemon cards for his Japanese one. Turned out to be a card-like sticker. For a smart kid I was such a naive little dope...
