I've never used them to be honest, so can't give you any advice here. I'm a graphic designer myself, so would have tried out various books and such in the past, but... I've always found video courses easier to learn from.
I used to use Lynda.com for Adobe software when I was learning and those were great. It's been at least 8 years though since I've been on the site. Since LinkedIn bought them, they've become more expensive, but still I would say their courses are worth it if you're looking to brush up your skills. If you have the time to make the most of the initial 30-day trial, you should check it out.

Hi All
Anyone ever used/read any of these books? There are a lot of poor books out there and am struggling to find reviews for these elsewhere.
Cheers
