Some time ago I had Skyrim in my inventory for a very very long amount of time (a year or more). You wouldn't fucking believe how many people were adding me because of that. Lesson learned, won't make my inventory public again.

Yeah It happens to me a lot too.
People adding me saying, "Gibe mi tim fotris kii, plox, gibe gaime, lefti fo dedi plox, i nid plox".

I think professional beggars use automated methods to find their victims, scan everyone in a group for their loot, or something.

Yes. Just yesterday omeone added me I thought for a trade, so i asked them what they wanted.

• SB: I have a coupon for 90% off SS3, but no money. Can you take my coupon and buy me the game?
• Me: What... just give it to you? For free?
• SB: Yeah, but you've already got a lot of stuff and i really want to play it!
• Me: So your idea of a small favor from a random person is asking for money. Reeeally?
