I remember not liking it at first. It was strange to play a GTA with over-the-shoulder camera. Plus it had the slight issue at launch where it could not save, so for days nobody managed to actually get out of Portland.
I eventually got used to the new style and learnt to like it, but GTA III still feels like a strange hybrid of not being able to get behind the first 3+1 games, yet still wanting to do something new. I still prefer Vice City and San Andreas, although GTA III has some nice moments to it.

I've only played Liberty City at PSP and GTA 5 on PC, so I sure as hell wanna give a try to the rest of them :P

I've finished GTA III recently, but honestly I don't understood anything... (About the history, of course)
