How long are the durations of your giveaways average? [with giveaways]
I just won a game that was 3 weeks long and only had 26 entries, you just have to join good groups and give games to get to a higher lvl

I rarely make short GAs, most are at least 24h long and lots of my GAs are between a few days and a week long.
The reasons for this are, we don't all live in the same timezone and people have to work. so I try to let these users also have a chance to enter the GA.

Already tried many combinations with the hints i found but still nothing

The period is set approximately from 1 day to 1 week.
I do not create much GA with no Lv restriction.
When make it, pick up the offender. :(
feel the need to increase the blacklist input limit to 10,000.
By the way, the category may be better for Puzzle.

I usually keep my giveaways short, 1 - 16 hours, mainly for two reasons. I like to just get the whole thing over and done with, so I know i'll be available to give the game. And because they were online very recently, I have to worry less about tracking them down to ask them to mark it as received.
Other reason being that giveaways get a lot of entries. I know the feeling of wanting a really neat game, but not being able to have a fair crack at it because the entries are too high (700 and below is a fair shot to me, 700 - 1000 is a low, but possible chance, 1000+ I will always opt out unless I have excess points or just truly want to get the game.)
So basically my point is I yeah you can have more entries, but tbh it doesn't super matter how long it is. The same amount of bots and people who will absolutely, never ever, EVER. play the game they won, and only entered because they can and it's free. And because it's +1 to their library collection and level. Will enter. But a lot of people who will play your game and enter it too. It's just on a smaller scale, at least that's how I see it anyways.
Also I just see it as more losers who may be a little sad and upset that they didn't win. Smaller scale means less losers.
But lately i've been starting to make more 24 hour giveaways for the same reason igel2005 has. "we don't all live in the same timezone and people have to work. so I try to let these users also have a chance to enter the GA."

found 2/3 ga's :) And just 3/5 of third one ;p Guess it's language barrier ;p
As for giveaways - i try to make at least 24h long - but occasionally I just want to dump some garbage from cleaning old bundles and I set 1h to get rid of them faster xD

My public giveaways are quicker (1-3 days) because they get plenty of entries.
My group and whitelist giveaways range from 3 days to 2 weeks to maximize the amount of entries they receive, and if they are for the group I run then they double as a way to communicate with members.

My giveaways are a minimum of 24 hours, and often 3+ days.
I'm not on SG all day long, and I don't expect others to be, so I want to give everyone who checks the site once a day a chance without forcing anyone to constantly check the site so that they can live their lives and play games and do other things that are better uses of their limited time.

My public GAs are always very quick (like 1-3 hours) and high level; that increases the chances for those who enter, excludes bots and most of the potential rulebreakers and makes the whole process more convenient for me. As for my rare group and whitelist GAs, these are long enough for all the interested members to enter (at least 3 days).

My giveaways are all 1 hour if possible, I just want to get it over with, so the faster it ends and I can send my keys, the faster I can forget about it again, though even within the 1 hour time frame I sometimes get a mail after 1 hour from Steamgifts and am like 'oh, I won something!?' and then get disappointed that it's just my giveaways ended which I already forgot I ever made...

doin my giveways with a min. of 24h always.
why?
steamgifts is international and my keys are not region locked, since we all live in different timezones and there is shiftworkers out there i want to give everyone of them a chance to join the giveaway ;)

I usually create short giveaways, bucause all people who enters it, has more chances to win)

Honestly most my GAs are probably either a day to three, or a week+, sorta depends on whether it's part of a train or a game I love and wanna share. I think I rarely if ever do shorter than a day, since as has been mentioned, timezones, ya know? Similarly I prefer making them longer because timezones aside, different weekdays work for different people etc etc.
I might've done GAs shorter than 24h but I think those were keys I was desperate to get rid of, e.g. if there was a chance of them being revoked otherwise, if there was a timelimit, etc. But with a seeming increase of unused keys being revoked methinks I'll try to make more GAs soon in order to not risk them becoming useless... although I'd think it wouldn't apply to most of what I have left, I suppose.

Since i started using the site, i got much better at finding these.

I usually make mine 1 hour if not group/invite only. I would make those 5 minutes long if I could because most of the time I am just trying to get rid of keys as soon as possible so I can forget about it.

giveaways are most of the time very sHort. C
8 6hours should be the minimum in my opinioN.
users are not always online, while bots are, this causes that bots can enter more of the short giveaway than real persons.
Lookking also to the time zones, causes that bots have an advantage.
For the question: why do you make short giveaways when this only profits the bots and the persons who are constant online?
the half of 6 Giveaways are hidden in this post, [the giveaways ends 16 july]
