Maybe you should give a try on Steam homepage, there is a whole new UI for discovery queue.

most events i can craft a single badge off the cards are earn and dump the rest on the market.
i liked earning them from the que well checking out games.
this year i didnt get a single card cause all i spent was 3.50$ on a single game
that i 100% paided for by selling off all my other steam cards.
i hate when steam does pay to play/win events.

That's why sale cards are still worth something.

Yeah, instead of 4 cents per card I got 13 cents this year ;)

You don't have to claim them, after you go through your queue 3 stickers will appear in your inventory.
