Metro 2033 key, only english?

I got a metro 2033 key from a trade and I activated it. When I tried to play the game I saw that the language was english and I didn't find the language options in the menu.
Is it possible that the key contained only the english language or I'm noob?

EDIT: OK, I'M NOOB, THERE WAS A OPTION IN THE SUBMENU FOR THE LANGUAGE

The language should be changed in the game submenu of options, where there is one that says language. It is possible you didn't check there, but if it isn't there, then I'm afraid I don't know.

In the steam options it's set to italian, but in game it's english
