I'm looking forward to Beyond: Two Souls a lot. A friend pre-ordered the PS3 version of GTA V for me, free, so I haven't given much thought into whether I should care about the game or not. My friend is extremely excited about the game, haha. I won't be able to play it until October 2nd anyway, no biggie. I never joined in on the hype around the game. It's gotten good reviews so far, though. Looks pretty sweet, too. In the end it comes down to if it will manage to keep my attention and curiosity for me to play through the game, finishing the story that is. GTA IV never really "hit the spot" for me, the last time I had a really fun time playing any GTA games was way back with GTA 1 and 2.
I still find myself interested in some AAA titles, but maybe I've grown out of being hyped about everything game related. My taste in games have changed over the years. I suppose it will change in the future, as well. Lately I've been a bit more excited about some indie titles and more casual games, haha.

I don't see any reason to be excited for GTA V, and even less so for other future releases. Is it wrong of me to, now that I'm finally starting to earn some money, see absolutely nothing of interest in the AAA market? Am I just biased towards my nostalgia, or am I right in thinking most of the new releases in the next while are either titles for existing franchises that have gone downhill (not referring to GTA here) or new IPs which don't see anywhere near as excited as we hoped (except maybe Cyberpunk 2077 and DICE's Battlefield, neither of which have release dates)?
Am I becoming disillusioned with gaming as a whole, or have I just not heard of some crazy amazing game coming out on the horizon that's going to blow me away? Help me out guys; I want to enjoy games again.
