It's usually the country doing the discriminating in issues like these. China and Germany are pretty bad about it, for different reasons. Except Russia, when they started their war against Ukraine, a lot of developers/publishers did ban them.

Always nice to see Falcom games getting some love, even if Gurumin seems like it's always sub-$5 anyways. Other than Tokyo Xanadu eX+, pretty much none of the XSEED-published Falcom games end up in bundles anymore, and you'll likely never see any of Falcom's newer games in bundles now that NISA is the sole English-language publisher: they're the only publisher I can think of with a full blanket exclusion on any third-party discounts - no coupons on Fanatical or any other legit site, no loyalty discounts like Humble Choice, it's their price or nothing at all.

I've had a bit of a grudge against Ash of Gods: Redemption for years over something that's not even really the devs' fault - rather, it boils down to bad shortcuts Nvidia used to take. Nvidia's heuristics decided that A) this game needed to run on the dedicated GPU on hybrid laptops (where games could run either on the integrated Intel graphics or the dedicated Nvidia chip) and B) that the only thing they needed to look at when deciding which profile to use was the name of the executable. AoG:R's executable is named terminus.exe. I used a program called Terminus in place of the older Windows command shell. Thus, Nvidia decided that every new command-line window I opened needed to run on the power-sucking, heat-generating GPU, even if I was at 20% battery and just needed to SSH into a remote machine for five minutes, all because of the default profile for an unrelated game that also didn't actually need to run on the GPU. Any time I changed the profile it'd revert back with the next driver update. These days, I understand Windows handles GPU selection through the OS rather than letting the vendors control it, and the new Windows Terminal is actually halfway usable, but ultimately I solved my issue by moving to Linux full-time anyways (and wouldn't you know it, the Ash of Gods devs are among the dwindling few to offer a native Linux binary for their game, too).

I enjoyed Moonlighter, if you're in for some shop keeping and sword stabbing. It's not an amazing most wonderful game, but I'd say I enjoyed my time with it. They added some fun bits halfway thru our playthru that made it a bit more robust.

Chaosbane with all the DLCs is a great price here, but the game was kind of boring. Otherwise it's not too bad. Just really, really bland and doesn't do anything to stand out. Pick it up if you need to fill the BYO and are curious, but don't go in expecting something like Torchlight 1 & 2 or Grim Dawn.

Just realized ATOM RPG is a sequel to a previous game. Do I need to play it to understand?

reading the reviews of chaosbane it seems like a balance issue, the recurring thing I was reading was great early game... but even on higher difficulties the mid/late game was very easy.

Warhammer Chaosbane was originally a ROW key, ran out of stock and got restocked with what is claimed to be a region locked version (missing for RU/CIS and SEA, but there's no such sub on steamdb)
