I used to watch SU big time (I haven't watched it since the beginning of the cluster arc), one of my favorite aspects of the show it's the music, I love it so much I already did 2 covers for 2 of the songs hahaha
I might start to watch it again, I've heard it got pretty good after that <3

With Lost being my all time favorite, the best concluded shows I have watched from recent years are:
On my favorite lists are also Agents of Shield (starts a bit crappy, but it gets better on every season, give its best if you enjoy watching other MCU movies), Vikings (far from perfect, but still nice, and music is amazing), and... Well, TBBT, but I hate how things are going downhill.
I'd also like to add a few good words on iZombie, since I saw your interest in it, and I can confirm it's a surprisingly funny and entertaining unique series, in my eyes it doesn't really shines like the other names on my list but worth a try if you are searching for something different.

I also liked Gravity falls and Star vs....
I can suggest Bravest warriors, it's very similar to Adventure time but with a better humor and plot if you ask me.
As far as I can remember the first two seasons are available on Youtube and season 3 is on some other site (it's also free but you might need an USA VPN).

Couldn't recommend Bravest Warriors highly enough. Each episode is pretty short, around 5 minutes, and you can watch the first two seasons legally and freely on YouTube. This is the first episode
Also thanks for reminding me Season 3 is finally out :D

If consider only the shows after 2010: finished - Sons of Anarchy (the first few episodes were not particularly impressive, but then became one of my favorites), current - Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, Vikings (1-2 seasons was good, then it gets worse and worse).

I like Suits and House of Cards, but I only find out about successful that have either been cancelled, or are to be cancelled within 2 years :P
I discovered that 70's show two years after it was finished, Scrubs one year and How I Met Your Mother also 2 years.
I discovered Guys with Kids and liked it -> no second season.
I discovered Men at Work in its second season -> cancelled after season 3
TL;DR: If I discover your show and like it, you're fucked :P

Commented on various other shows throughout, but here are a few others that I didn't see anyone recommend:
Others recommended The Arrow and The Gifted, but I found those terrible. The acting and the dialogs are just soooo bad...
Looking for a new show myself, so thank you for the thread. Hoping to find something for myself :)

The Punisher. Pretty much the best among the Marvel series shows on Netflix, at least for me :)

I loved The OA, but it's clearly not for everyone. Sense8 was great too. I've also seen Legion recently and found it enjoyable while not a total masterpiece.
I'm currently in the begginning of El Chapo, quite good so far (I enjoyed Narcos). And in a dozen days, the new season of Black Mirror will be there, yeah :)

Is there anything better than Game of thrones? Nooooooooooo

Recent = released new seasons of older series or completely new?
Let me say about comedies, Curb your enthusiasm is still very good and from completely new The Orville made by many original (older) Star Trek creators is great as well.
Other completely new series Quarry was very good but ended with just one season.. And Game of Thrones - great series.
edit: I would forget The Expense, very interesting one.
