I've played for six-eight hours with them on comfortably, it's a firm but reassuring fit. I also wear glasses and they have not bothered me in the slightest. The memory foam around the earcups is what makes it very comfortable even after hours and hours. I've even stood up forgetting I had them on. Trust me, if you buy these you won't be disappointed! (I see someone mentioned the treble levels, I personally would recommend increasing the bass to fix that but that is a personal preference and changed with two clicks in the equaliser.)

They are very comfortable in my opinion, even on long periods of gaming I had no problem with it straining my ears or anything.
It's lightweight and the strap at the top makes it so that it adjusts your head perfectly. Though, I don't know if it's comfortable while wearing glasses on because I don't wear glasses. You should check out some reviews on Youtube since there's a lot of people who made reviews of this particular headset and some of them wear glasses. :)

Roccat Kave Solid 5.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset
if you also watch HD movies, no brainer deal
those are among the best surround headphones (because they are REAL 5.1 surround not virtual) and you must play games with it activated, BUT, they are not pretty much impressive for stereo
EDIT: oh, damn, you must use USB... too bad :\

the microphone on that one is exceptionally good
if you are not going to play music with bass it's a good deal!!!
(you can compensate by using your equalizer and pump a bit up the low frequencies without start glitching)

Thank you for the recomendation. I'm also shopping for a headset and was ready to pull the trigger on Sennheiser PC350, but these are cheaper and seem to of equal or greater value (considering real 5.1 surround). My only concern is that I also have a surround sound speaker setup, so I need to switch between the two on the fly (preferably without having to climb under my desk to switch the 3.5mm jacks in the soundcard). I guess I'm going to google for 5.1 analog switches or something... How do these sound in stereo mode, compared to Sennheiser?

there are really, brutally, awesome in any movie or game using 5.1 as you have several speakers per side and not just one emulated, virtualized, whatever.
but as I said the stereo (2.0) performance is not as good as 5.1, so playing games or listening to music on 2.0 will not be as good that expensive Sennheiser

I've used the Corsair Vengeance 1500. They have really good sound quality, but the highs are way too high. Like if someone boosted the treble to the level where it will make your head hurt after 10 minutes. Probably the most comfy headset I have ever tried though. Fits your head pretty good and the pads are soft. Build should be quite robust since it's not 100% plastic like most headsets.

Headphones + Mic > Headset! Headphones are cheaper and have better quality than nearly every Headset, expept the 150€++ ones.
Sennheiser is by far the best, when it comes to Headsets. But if you're on a budget there are alot of great Headphones for <50€ and a Mic costs like 5€.

I bought a new headset today. It was a Turtle Beach -something. Now I'm starting to regret my purchase since I don't really like the design of the headset :(. I haven't tried that headset yet, so if it works okay I might not have to regret buying it.

tom's hardware Eight 5.1- And 7.1-Channel Gaming Headsets, Reviewed
I went for the Corsair Vengeance 1500, lasted only about half a year, had regularly cable-twisting-whatever-you-call-it issues. After one "let's get the cable straight again" session I was left with the cable in one hand and the headphone in the other hand. Up until that incident, I was quite happy with the 1500 - so I went with the wireless Corsair Vengeance 2000 (even though it's not a real 5.1/7.1). Just received it today, first impression is ok, weight doesn't seem to be an issue, but too early to tell how good/bad that choice was.

So guys i need a headset for gaming.
I actually do not have a sound card, and i read that in my case is better to choose an USB one to have better audio.
My primary requirement is confort, then everything else. I do not want to buy an headset that after 1 hour becomes hot like hell or destroys my ears.
So what do you guys recommend?
I found these models interesting:
Ozone Strato EVO
Steelseries Siberia v2
Thermaltake SHOCK ONE
Corsair Vengeance 1500
Have you tried one of these?
Thanks in advance, have a nice day. :D (also forgive me for my basic english)
EDIT: I forgot to mention that i wear glasses!
