It's actually a very decent mix of japanese/western cyperpunk action rpg.
Tactical in all combat.
Kinda easy in the beginning but gets a bit harder later on as far as I remember.
It still kinda holds up, though it must have been amazing for its time.

pc game from before 200x something sure don't hold a candle to
console games with the same release year ... as if the peasantry
was pc exclusive back in the day

could never finish because parts of the story skip and it becomes unplayable,and you have no idea what you are doing

one of few games that i cant finish, really hard :D

Now that's a quality server. Can't handle 2k simultaneous connections.

just got mine with ad-block turned on, took 20+ tries and many 500 internal server errors

finally got mine as well,man there servers are crap lol

The only non-RPGMaker Western JRPG I know of. Combat system is quite interesting, in a really good way.
The last third is a pain in the ass though with endless mazes, and it can also be super tricky to make it run on Vista and up. Still, if anyone is up for some old-school JRPG, it's a great one.

I can't help but wonder why the free game sites haven't adapted their approach yet...
They know that as soon as they announce it they are going to effectively DDoS themselves.
If the goal is to get new members for their site, I would expect they want to make the experience as pleasant as possible.

You just have to keep refreshing, took me half an hour of refreshing before it worked... I haven't had this amount of trouble with this site at any of its other giveaways, clearly Septerra Core is worth crashing servers for. :P
