Everytime I see a copy of GTA V or Fallout 4 or some premier game, I click on the profile who created the giveaway and it's 0 won and 0 giveaways. Seems legit. Basically they make an account, spam their agenda (some website usually - click here!) and make a fake giveaway to end in a few weeks. It will get 5000+ entries and it's free advertising for whatever they put in the description.

Simple and effective. And stupid as hell.

But how many people are going to click the link? I advertised a youtube channel once in a giveaway, but it was actually another giveaway, to see how many people would click on it. 8 people entered out of 168.

If you want people to actually click the link, you have to say you're hosting a giveaway for another copy on your youtube or twitch or whatever. That will do it :p

Heh, I remember finding one of those giveaways too. I was genuinely disappointed it wasn't a youtube link since iirc the description was really well put together :p

You can always count on me... to click on your links, subscribe your channel, like your FB etc. etc. etc.

They only have 3 giveaway slots to make giveaways to advertise. If they don't deliver the game, then they don't get more slots. Self-limiting.

it's usually people that i assume want to troll and feel extremely happy when they see 10k+ entries in their fake GAs. the lifetime accomplishment for them!
