JESUS I am not going to play all of these but I'm seeing some games I regularly enter giveaways for so it could be worth it! You're not getting better value than this bundle LOL
EDIT: Death and Taxes made me click the purchase button. That's an unbundled, wishlisted game. Now there's quite a few games on SG that I won't have to enter giveaways for, nice!
Comment has been collapsed.
No bundle will ever compare to a value of ≈$0,007 per game! Time to complain about the price for every single bundle in the future. :)
Comment has been collapsed.
I know right? It's got some I had wishlisted on Steam, and some that are only there on Itch and I "wishlisted" as well (made a private list to keep an eye on them more easily). I oculd have done without many other forgettable ones there but hell, it's so worth the price.
Comment has been collapsed.
You can store DRM free software wherever you want.
I don't think it's exactly as you say.
People are just really tied to their online identity and want those hours played and achievements to show on Steam.
I feel it too sometimes and it's a bit sad we're so drawn to that instead of just...drawn to games.
It should be the games that make Steam what it is, not the other way around.
Comment has been collapsed.
Okay maybe but not me I really don't care about achievements and showing how many hours u have is more a negative cause people will make fun of you for playing some games for long times plus in general showing the games u own is more negative than positive.
Comment has been collapsed.
If you really love Steam, you can add non-steam games to your steam library and access them all from there. Personally, I think there are much better options for a consolidated games library (like Playnite or GOG Galaxy). In any case, it doesn't have to be complicated.
Comment has been collapsed.
You could use something like Playnite if you wanted to. In the long run you will be able to get much better deals (like this one), more giveaways / free games, and better prices if you're willing to buy from multiple storefronts.
Obviously Playnite has its own annoyances in terms of setting it up and keeping it working and such, but it's an option worth considering when you're talking about passing up deals as good as this one.
Comment has been collapsed.
Thanks for the tip but I am good for now since I mostly play games that wouldn't appear in bundles from the beginning so it doesn't bother me that I am missing on some super cheap games. I mostly buy bundles just for giveaways and the few little games for myself that I do enjoy but those are quite rare.
Comment has been collapsed.
technically they're DRM-free so if you approach it ethically, give them to someone else and then never play them, it should be okay. But then again, this bundle is literally 5 dollars and the money goes to a good cause, why not gift the whole bundle instead?
Comment has been collapsed.
awesomely juicy!
100% charity and plenty of good stuff? grabbed!
(+ congrats to itch.io)
picks found (feel free to suggest your picks):
thanks a ton, Lilly!
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, that and OneShot are the highlights for me. OneShot's all time low is $5, and Night in the Woods is $12. I've also heard good things about Glittermitten Grove.
Minit, Oxenfree, and A Short Hike are great if folks don't already have them.
Comment has been collapsed.
thanks so much, at least there's an order...
reading itch.io forums it seems there's a script that adds links to the bundle that devs wanted to be included, kinda automated, then (and they're still including stuff :D)
Comment has been collapsed.
Thanks for the list i(o)caio, I bought it for charity and I don't think I would have had the courage to check all the pages without your help.
About itchio bundles, I was explained the other day that itchio doesn't organize them, it's the creators who decide to make one together and pick the price.. It makes me wonder how this other bundle price was decided..
Comment has been collapsed.
Thank you! I was hoping people would post which games they liked from the bundle, there are so many in there that it's overwhelming.
Comment has been collapsed.
Contributing my own list of games (that didn't make it into yours). I'm not including page numbers, because mine appear to be different from yours, and there's a search feature. Also, obviously take into account personal taste, e.g. I love experimental games. But the more I look at this bundle, the more astonished I am, it is STUFFED with things I've considered getting or had wishlisted.
Comment has been collapsed.
So many trash games, this bundle doesn't even feel worth the price even with this amount of games.
Will be a skip for me.
Comment has been collapsed.
Fair enough. I think that's every bundle, though - if you want the games it's great, if you don't it's meh.
For me this bundle has $17 worth of unbundled games from my wishlist and a lot of other games that I'd be interested in trying out - it's more exciting than the past two Humble Choice bundles. And DRM-Free is a nice bonus for me. :)
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, there are a lot of great games in this month's and last month's bundle, I just already some of them. There's only one game I want out of June's bundle, and only 2 games out of May, so they didn't seem worth it to me. If I didn't already have Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice and The Messenger, this month's bundle would have been great for me.
Comment has been collapsed.
You can choose whether to add the filler games to your library or not, and with stuff like Night in the Woods, Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass, GNOG, Celeste, Minit, and A Short Hike, it's a damn good deal.
Comment has been collapsed.
Their idea seems to be that the library on Itch isn't flooded to hell and back with things you don't want in there. But yeah, there doesn't seem to be a better way to find an individual game's download link than to click through the 25-a-page list.
Comment has been collapsed.
You don't actually have to go to download to add them to your library. Just clicking on the "download" button of the games you want is enough. Then hit the back button.
Comment has been collapsed.
It doesn't add the games to your library until you go to download them on the bundle page
Does this mean you can lose the games if you don't add them immediately? Or is the bundle itself somehow registered to your account? (I don't know how ItchIO works very well.)
Comment has been collapsed.
It's registered to your account, don't worry! Everything you purchase is stored automatically in your library, and the link to the bundle should always work. (I think they email you the link, too, but I'm not sure.)
Comment has been collapsed.
Sweet, thanks! I've never bought anything on ItchIO before but I think I'm gonna get this one.
Comment has been collapsed.
Itch is rad, honestly. The interface isn't perfect, but they let creators choose what percentage goes to the store, meaning they can totally choose if they want 100% of the profits. The only thing I really want is currency conversion.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, I've actually already published a game on ItchIO (for free though, no charge). I just hadn't bought anything. 😛
Comment has been collapsed.
Whoops, sorry! I spend a lot of time extolling Itch's virtues, since I think it's really great and a lot of people don't use it. Didn't mean to be condescending.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, no problem. To be honest I don't use it all that much and there's probably a lot that I could still learn about it.
Comment has been collapsed.
Which one do you prefer?
Unfortunately I can't add much other info to any of these, but I would appreciate some feedback on which of them you find more useful.
Comment has been collapsed.
If we want to access the games we want to play from this, we need to go to the itch.io store page and it is way easier to click on the links here than to go through 25 pages of games in the itch.io bundle page. So that's a vote for the itch.io links, from someone who bought this.
But the Steam one is so useful too, it'll help with seeing what games I need to avoid entering giveaways for.
Comment has been collapsed.
No apparently we do need to go through the 25 pages of bundle in order to access the games (I guess they only get added to the library when you download them?). I thought it was as simple as going to the store page, adding the game to a collection and then you could download them normally but no, apparently I need to click to page 20 or something to be able to download Death and Taxes for example. Weird layout.
Comment has been collapsed.
I didn't download any of them. I did go through the 25 pages and clicked on the "download button" of the ones that I intend to play, (takes you to download options) then hit the back button to continue scrolling. The ones I want are all in my library now. ;)
Comment has been collapsed.
Well, I compiled little something, if it's not worth keeping, I'll remove this post and whole gist.
Comment has been collapsed.
Pretty cool idea to host it on GitHub. It's sad that RaChart and ESGST won't work on it, also the columns are not sortable.
But we can't possibly have it all, right? 🙃
Thanks for the great work!

Could you please remove the Steam links for Savior and Intrepid? Thank you!

Hi, could you please add the 2 missing Steam games from this comment? Thanks!
Comment has been collapsed.
Thank you very much. I always see it as a common effort of the whole SG community and I'm happy if it can inform and help people decide whether they want to buy it or not.
Comment has been collapsed.
Thank you for your wonderful work! I'm just wondering: how did you know which games are on Steam? Do you have a tool or script? I imagine you didn't type all the titles in Steam search to find out ^^
Comment has been collapsed.
Barter's List tool has a name matching functionality. I just dumped in there the games tagged with Steam key from the dialogue that opens when you try to purchase.

It is amazing indeed! Perhaps even more than actually playing the greater titles, I think the most fun will be in exploring all the gems... feels like opening a box full of surprises ^^ Even among the non-games I've already spotted some interesting things.
Comment has been collapsed.
Night in the Woods? Quadrilateral Cowboy? Sold! Not on Steam? Don't care, price point is worth it. Price beats platform.
Comment has been collapsed.
Certainly didn't stop you, since you were the one first going there to spread dumb conspiracy theories.
Comment has been collapsed.
And nothing isn't stopping your dumb behaviour, then again most can read the thread, you are the one full with conspiracy theories, calling everyone not agreeing with you basically nazi's, not the rest.
Grow up till you stop insulting anything as your first reaction, until you can legally vote and drink, and come with proper counter answers, then we will talk further as civilized adult human beings.

Hopefully there won't be any, I hope.
I sure as hell hope it doesn't involve me again though. Had enough of this

Now THIS is an awesome bundle with a great cause!!! There's a good portion of meh but there are some hidden gems in here, especially for visual novel fans! The price is definitely unbeatable and who knows? Maybe there's some more hidden gems I haven't noticed yet???
Comment has been collapsed.
you can use the following code on your browsers dev console to make claiming the games simpler and quicker
Array.from(document.querySelectorAll("div.game_row_data div.button_row form.form")).forEach( function(element, index, array) { var csrf_token = element[0].value; var game_id = element[1].value; jQuery.post(window.location.href,"csrf_token="+encodeURIComponent(csrf_token)+"&game_id="+game_id+"&action=claim"); } );
When the script stops claiming games refresh the page and use the same code to continue the progress.

So this is an incredible bundle, but adding the games to library is quite difficult. Even though the bundle page is added to account list now, you still have to click 'download' once to have each game actually added to your library and searchable/accessible via the itch.io main search and game storefront page.
I'm going to copy past something I put up on reddit a little while ago as I thought it could be a service to all fellow DRM-free and unique games lovers here at SteamGifts like me:
--BEGIN PASTED REDDIT COMMENT--
So yeah it is very difficult and time consuming to find and add the actual games you most want. On the plus side, being forced to go through all 700+ games allowed me to find some very interesting things I'd like to try which I probably would never have even heard about before. But I know not everyone has the interest, time, or patience to do so... even though I would highly recommend it for those who are capable of doing so because it looks like there are a ton of diamonds in the rough to be excavated here.
To skip to the page you want, on your unique download URL append the query '?page=X' (where X is the page number you want). So for example if you want page number 20, then the URL should look like 'itch.io/bundle/download/[some.long.unique.string]?page=20
Here are some of higher-profile games and the page number the download link is on:
(pg.1) Last Knight: Rogue Rider Edition
(pg.1) Dreaming Sarah
(pg.1) Shipwreck
(pg.1) Airships: Conquer the Skies
(pg.2) Super Win the Game
(pg.2) Catlateral Damage
(pg.2) Wheels of Aurelia
(pg.2) Haque
(pg.2) On Rusty Trails
(pg.3) Overland
(pg.3) Stardrop
(pg.3) Loot Rascals
(pg.3) This World Unknown
(pg.4) Semblance - puzzle platformer
(pg.4) Joggernauts
(pg.4) Night in the Woods
(pg.4) Bleed
(pg.4) A Mortician's Tale
(pg.5) Unfair Jousting Fair
(pg.5) Fortune-499
(pg.6) Heavy Bullets
(pg.8) Minit
(pg.10) reky - [puzzle game]
(pg.11) Double Cross
(pg.12) The King's Bird
(pg.12) Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!!
(pg.13) Quench
(pg.14) A Short Hike
(pg.15) Quadrilateral Cowboy
(pg.15) Mable & the Wood
(pg.17) Death and Taxes
(pg.21) OneShot
(pg.23) Spring Falls
(pg.24) Tonight We Riot
(pg.25) Oxenfree
And a few games I had not heard of before but looked interesting while scrolling through:
(pg.1) Visual Out - [A metroidvania about exploring the inside of a dying computer]
(pg.2) WaveCrash!!
(pg.6) Just Shapes and Bits - A SNES de-make of the indie game Just Shapes and Beats!
(pg.8) Verdant Skies - [looks a lot like Stardew Valley in terms of game mechanics/premise]
(pg.8) AIdol - [A visual novel by ebi-hime]
(pg.10) Kaiju Big Battel: Fighto Fantasy - Travel through time with big, punchy monsters in this 16-bit style RPG!
(pg.12) One-Eyed Lee and the Dinner Party - Help Beracus and Lee escape an underground bunker filled with cultist skeletons!
(pg.14) Hair Dash - [looks kind of like One Finger Death Punch with nice pixelart]
(pg.18) Wide Ocean Big Jacket - A Camping Story starring: Uncle Brad, Aunt Cloanne, Mord (and Ben)
(pg.20) Sonar Smash - A super cute, fast paced shoot 'em up featuring a lovable dolphin.
(pg.21) Democratic Socialism Simulator - Pave the road to a post-capitalist society
These lists are hardly exhaustive, and with more games being added and formats being different the page numbers might change or depend on what display you are using so please comment with others you come across as you find them... or if there is some industrious redditor out there, it would be most useful to scrape all pages and list the games with the page it appears on and put it in a pastebin or other such public document.
Update: A helpful redditor compiled a list of all games and the page number they exist on and put it on a google spreadsheet here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1fCo24paccVy7-j6eHOQG4d9UaYHkogmccJbV2GxllB0/edit#gid=615046558
