My recommendation goes for Night in the Woods. Simple, enjoyable and replayable.

They don't outright fill your collection with the games/things, which is nice as there's a LOT of things I don't think I'll ever use (assets, some games).
Go to your bundles page and click download, the game should appear in your client. Repeat for all the games you want to add.

Intrepid steam link is not the same as the itch.io game. (I don't think the game is on Steam)
Side note: I made a collection of all the games that are also on Steam and 200/740 are on both platforms.

Yep, there is a different one on Steam with the same name,

Death and Taxes alone is worth the $5. I really enjoyed the demo of that one, and the game just came out a few months ago.

Today there will be 185 additions to this bundle according to their Twitter: https://twitter.com/moonscript/status/1269157695442939904
$234,000 raised in about 6 hours!
😱
I've bumped the goal to $500k. Thank you so much to those who bought the bundle and the those who donated their projects.BTW, 185 new projects have already been submitted and will be added tomorrow!

...Now, GOG Galaxy just needs some sort of plugin for Itch.IO. XD

There is a new GOG Galaxy integration for itch.io to get the complete library listed:
https://github.com/tauqua/gog-galaxy-itch.io
I have installed it but shows lots of "unknown game" entries because many games on itch.io are not on GOG's database as the author explains here

Oh wow, thank you! That sounds a lot better than the old plugin, at least.
I haven't been very impressed with GOG Galaxy 2.0 so far. It actually seemed to work relatively well for Epic, Twitch, Bethesda, Origin, and Uplay, but in total I have less than 500 games in those services.
But importing my Steam library crashed the client three times and took about five hours (I have ~8000 games), and ever since that completed GOG Galaxy has been very slow to start and use. Steam copes with my Steam library a LOT better than GOG Galaxy does.
With the addition of this new mega-bundle on itch.io, multiplying my previous itch library size about 50 times, I'm not sure it's a good idea to add another thousand-odd games to it in yet another client, especially if some of them will be "unknown game". :D
I guess I'll probably try it.
My main reason to install GOG Galaxy was so that I would easily be able to check whether I already own a game and, if so, what platform it's on. It sort of fulfills that requirement, but not as well as I'd hoped.

I'm unfamiliar with Playnite honestly (read: until this comment I had never heard of it), so think I'll go with the integration for GOG Galaxy Sandoukos linked me, however I will look into it some more, thank you!

Is everyone here actually able to purchase the bundle? All I get is "Your card was declined" (while using two different cards issued by different banks, nothing local and weird, just your basic Visa and MasterCard).

it also includes Lancer (co-written by the author of Kill Six Billion Demons, who also did the art.) It's definitely worth a look for people who like tabletop RPGs, too.

5 dollars for literally hundreds of games, many of which are in my wishlist?
Not gonna lie, it's probably the best value proposition I've ever seen, but that bundle is also the most intimidating thing I've ever seen. It's like someone dropping a mountain of DVDs / books at your door and then leaving while laughing maniacally, you both know that you simply can't watch / read the whole thing, it's an exercise in futility.
I don't know if I'll buy this thing, it's just a ludicrous addition to my backlog that I find hard to justify to myself.

I made Death Game+ and Metori, so I'd suggest playing those
Quadrilateral Cowboy and Super Hexagon are two of my favorites, too

you can see which game is on steam, found in reddit

It has been created by one of the user that are active on the threads: buszmen201 and was linked in the OP ever since he posted that comment.

That is one crazy ass bundle..
But looking through the bundle it seems mostly shovelware I wouldnt touch with 10 foot pole or indie games that I rarely have interest in.. I would estimate that I would probably play less then 10 games out of everything, so its not really that inviting for me even if they would be steam keys.

I dont doubt its a real treasure trove for some. Not for me though. for one I like games that are visually beautiful and 1st or 3rd person - that already sorts out 90% games out of this bundle that I dont care about as I rarely play pixel or 2D games

I do try to experimenter with different types of games now and then. But as Axelflox said several comments above " that bundle is also the most intimidating thing I've ever seen" :D I would probably get sick of sorting through such a huge number of games to find something decent (I have 700+ games in my steam library - I cant even fully find my way through that)

For what it's worth, "A Short Hike" is a third person game that lasts about 3 hours, but is relaxing and charming. It's like a weird blend of Night In The Woods (also in the bundle, amazing game IMO), Celeste, and a litle of Animal Crossing calming vibes.
It is quite a lot of sorting but you could always rely on Steamgifts to shortlist the noteworthy ones for you ;)
Or not, hey, it's your money and your time. Zero judgements!

last -kinda old- news from itch.io (@moonscript):
- Only paid games will be added directly to the bundle from now on
- All submissions will be highlighted in a collection to show who has offered support
the "collection" will also list free games, but they won't appear in the bundle. about new games, leafo explained that will add them in batch, and
process is not automated (=have some patience).
if you're curious about new games, have a look at last pages of the itch.io submission thread
edit: from twitter (@moonscript)
A bunch of people have been asking me: When are new games coming to the bundle?
.
- today is my birthday and it was just the weekend give me a break
- I need to make infrastructure changes for how keys are generated, it will take too long to backfill DB using current setup
.
Once these changes are made the process should be streamlined, and games can be added instantly. So thanks for your patience. Hoping to get it out today, sorry no new games have come yet
also, do those "2 Steam keys" were already there? clicking on buy it shows Dawn of a Soul and NEXT JUMP: Shmup Tactics, but they're not inside the bundle (not yet?)

forma.8 shows up in that thread. I have that one on my Steam wishlist, so that will be a nice addition.

Dawn of a Soul - Page 6
NEXT JUMP: Shmup Tactics - Page 5
Yes, they have had steam keys and I claimed mine.
EDIT: As per YQMaosku below, there may no longer be any Steam keys if you buy the bundle. There is a disclaimer on the store pages for Dawn of a Soul and NEXT JUMP: Shmup Tactics - "(Note: Steam key not included in Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality)"

I did look at the last page for what is coming and saw this:
Spooky Squid Games Inc.1 hour ago(+4)
https://spookysquid.itch.io/they-bleed-pixelsAdded our game They Bleed Pixels to itch so we could include it in the bundle. Thanks so much for organizing this!
Ripped Pants at Work, Highway Blossoms Remastered, Ethereal, Emberlight are just the ones I recognized from giveaways here on Steamgifts. Many more I probably missed.
1600+ posts in games to add. I viewed the last 400 and only a few were just comments or repeats I saw on other pages. This may be the largest bundle I've ever seen.
