Ok, this one isn't as bad as some. Or rather, it's not bad in the same ways. I think it's bad because it looks like something a high schooler would do for a homework assignment. Not a game I would pay $3.99 for. Yeah, let's just have some colored blobs randomly move around against some generic background and call it a game. Oh, and add in an esoteric soundtrack.

True. Some pass through Greenlight, instead of being repeatedly removed and reposted.

And it's not the second time I see it in the "Recent Submissions" list either.

I remember back in 2011 or 2012 I used to defend indie games on the forums when people would just say "indie games are shit" in reference to most indie games on steam. I'm finding that harder and harder to do when Steam is getting bogged down with so many mediocre (even in my mind) titles.

You might want to change that to 'mediocre at best'... I also like indie games and there are true gems out there, but the majority is really just some lazy cash grab attempt or a very limited attempt to clone and twist a well known game. Most 'devs' won't find the money to take a second shot at greenlighting a game, but the amount of not-even-mediocre-games on Steam is still growing.

TBH as "Indie" is a kind of a funding method (no big publisher involved, hence much smaller budget) there is no guarantee, any kind of that the final game won't be a trainwreck. So, while quite sadly, I also have to admit that under the surface of well known and loved indie games there is a big, smelly, wicked swamp made of clumsy platformers, unity-based FPS zomvie survivors with crafting elements, top-down shooters with no imagination, etc. For each one game, there's 10-20 of these so called games.

You obviously don't get the "artistic vision" of the developers :D
My poor eye, this abomination... though at least states minimalistic, it can (could?) be even good.
There are better ball-games on Steam. Even amongst early access titles

What are you saying? They are proud of being minimalistic!
This game feels so much 1990/2000

"unique minimalist environment" "atmospheric art". I bet it has the 30fps cinematic feel to it too!

Even the dev didn't bother playing it.
