EVENT HAS ENDED

Hello there

I won two giveaways today so I decided to make some myself.

I almost always wall my giveaways behind a Jigidi puzzle, if you hate that feel free to punch me.

The games included are:

  • Batman Arkham Origins 2 Copies
  • Scribblenauts Unlimited
  • Injustice Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition
  • Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor GOTY
  • Bastion

I am currently finishing reading all the Middle-Earth books so the Jigidi in question will be themed around that.

JIGIDI
256 pieces

Here is a countdown timer so you can know how much time you have to solve it before it is all over:

Yes and No. In this case. Created at the same time and end at the same time .... so yes.

But that does not need to be the case. Many people create before hand and in sets. End times can vary. People can create for more then one event at a time. Or just randomly add some in.

So its nice to see the end time of a GA like this noted.

Sometimes the end times provided by the site are not exactly precise. I am doing this because in my previous jigidi, a person managed to solve it but the giveaways ended like 5 minutes before he did it and I felt bad.

For example, a giveaway says: 2 hours remaining
Another one says: 1 hour remaining
The actual time for any of those giveaways to end can be in between and I expect this jigidi to be solved between 1 and 2 hours (my time was 1 hour and 14 minutes, I am kinda slow)

So, ... No discussion of Dwarfism, then? Too bad....

What about it? Does eating shrimp causes your children to born with dwarfism? I don't think so

It goes back to the title of the OP. "Shrimp" is the plural form of the animal. "Shrimps" is the plural of "Shrimp," a slang term for anyone considered "vertically challenged," including dwarfs, midgets, and "pygmies."

Damn. I feel dumb but glad at the same time that I learned something. No offense intended to anyone here with dwarfism!

Not sure, maybe he is referring to the slang term for shrimp, meaning small, similar to the word runt.

I was ignorant. Didn't know that Shrimps is not the plurar for Shrimp, and also ignored the existence of the slang term, forgive me Maya senpai!

Perhaps. I'm not really big on sea food in general. The only sea food I like is Chilean sea bass, baby shark, and ahi tuna (so long as it's cooked rare). I do love sushi, though.

It's ok if you don't. I mean there's food out there for everyone, right? I think I could convince you on rock lobsters because I've convinced other people before (and my lobsters are on point ;) ) and because you seem to like your seafood on the "meaty" side. If you come across monkfish or swordfish on a restaurant menu and you haven't tried it yet, give it a go. If you like sea bass, shark and ahi tuna, you may enjoy their texture and less "fishy" taste.

Sushi is my go-to in any season. There's nothing better than sushi to enjoy fish, when well prepared, if only because there's nothing to disguise or decorate it so it has to be great fish.

Are shrimps the same as scampi?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Depends where you are. If you're in the US or the UK, you will see a lot of "shrimp scampi" on menus and it's basically a dish made with various crustaceans, most often shrimp or prawns and almost never with actual scampi. It's an abuse of language though.
Actual scampi are lobster's cousin. They're ofc much smaller but they look very different from shrimps and are a rarer (and more expensive) delicacy.

Don't know if they have that in Middle Earth but if you ever visit Italy, you'll have no problem finding that, especially in the North.

OKay, if somone ever happen to do the same - open your browser console (in firefox F12 -> console) and search for the line:

[debug] progress: Progress::processMessage [game]: Complete: {"message":

You'll find the code there.

How to avoid that in the future: have a Jigidi account and make sure you're signed in when you solve a puzzle. That way, if you get interrupted, or your browser crashes or whatever, you can start from where you left off. And if you finished it and just go to the link, you can just click "view the puzzle" and you can access the code from the paused menu.

OK, Jigidi fans; Q&A time!

When a puzzle is finished I see the code. Now if I want to see it again, do I have to do it all over again? Or is it accessible somewhere there?
I am logged in so the progress on it is saved.

EDIT:
Nevermind, found it...
