First of all yes, I know, WTF am I doing asking about a Ps3 game here, but I've been searching and all I can find is people asking the same question but not getting an answer.

I bought the game, got the Red/Blue glasses, but I can't activate the 3D anaglyph mode, just the stereoscopic one. In video settings, the stereoscopic one is the one selected, and the button is inactive, and in story mode that's the only one I can select.

Watching videos on youtube all I could see is that instead of the option to turn on or off the stereoscopic 3D in story mode, they have the same option about anaglyph 3D, which must be selected in video settings. Anyone that has the game knows what can I do? Do I need to unlock the Director's Cut first?

Thanks.

I have the Wii version. Great game.

As for your problem, I'm googling without luck. Sorry.

Yep, awesome game. I suppose I'll have to get the Director's Cut mode first, but I'm not sure cause it doesn't say anything like that on the manual.

BTW thanks for your concern.

Quick question, are you checking for it through the main mode or the extra modes? I came across someone who didn't have 3D for the bonus modes, but could set it in the story.

Also, I hope you can play it with friends, much more fun that way.

Yes, there's no option in the minigames, I'm trying in story mode where the steroscopic 3D is available, but no anaglyph.

And yes, actually I've just beaten the first stage cause I'm playing it with a friend, and I don't want to continue without him.

Thanks again.

Damn. I was hoping that would be a fix for you.

Having looked in the manual for the Wii version, it seems the Director's Cut unlock is also in the Wii version I own, so I doubt that is required for the other 3D mode.

It's really wierd that there's other people asking the same question but noone gets an answer, even on the official forums.

Maybe you can try with different display modes, like switching out HDMI for Component, see if that makes a difference.

That actually worked, so I can't play it in anaglyph using my HDMI, great...

Thanks.

OK, now I changed it back to HDMI and now it's available in HDMI too. I don't understand how this game works xD

Horray for that discovery, even if it seems glitchy.

I didn't bother with the 3D settings til I unlocked and beat everything 100% so I have no idea if it's something you unlock at some point but it wouldn't surprise me if that's how it is.
