I found that since I giveaway digital homicide game, I got blacklist. Therefore, I wanna know how other thought about this.
Actually, I need to cost my time to find those active code, and most importantly is "that is just share" without and profit because those games are no value games. It also exist some problem such as I need to dealing with people who accidentally attends the giveaway but already exist the game. Since the SG system cannot know whether we already own the game or not, it's OK to forgive them because everyone might make the mistake, even though I had make the warning on description.
However, if most people thought that "People who giveaway these game should be punished!! I want to add them to my blacklist", I might stop doing this. I feel frustrated.

How do you know that's the reason you were blacklisted?

People blacklist for any and all reasons, so speculation is meaningless. So letting the conclusion to your speculation bug you is futile.

The biggest problem with digital homicide games that were given away is the sites would give multiple copies of the same code resulting in duplicated code messages when you enter it in steam. If a winner blacklist you it may because the key is a duplicate. You can search a winners library before giving them the key to make sure they do not already own it before sending it.

I don't think it works for removed games :/ If I search for a removed game like "North Side" on my games list on Steam's website, it doesn't show up. The only way to see it is via the Steam client

Then offer a script for those who didn't want to enter such game.
Since it didn't show up anything while enter the removed games, it's the way to judge.

He have no giveaways marked as "Not received" so I think not the keys were duplicate.

I think it might be due not to the fact that you make GAs for Digital Homicide games, but rather to the fact that all but one of your GAs were for such games. Making GAs makes your profile more likely to get noticed by people who blacklist for bad ratio.

You have won 23 games 1 full value and 22 bundle games.
You have given away 1 bundle game and rest of them free games. And not only free, you said it yourself that its worthless digital homicide games that you cant even sell the cards if you win. And you ask why some blacklist you?

Comment has been collapsed.

So many reasons. Oh I opened your profile.

Overall activity on your account is not something to be particularly proud of: giving so many homicide games and so little of anything adequate, while taking part in literally anything possible. (You took part in almost 6k GAs in 1 month - how is this even possible?). In this light homicide games really don't help you to look fine.

Probably, some users still don't know that 'free' and digital homicide keys don't earn any CV for giver, and think that you somehow abuse the SG system.

Then, extra reason could be that you don't play your won games and some users may block you to avoid giving you anything. However this is not very effective method as BL is limited and there are just too many people who almost don't play gifts.

Hope this helps!

Probably, some users still don't know that 'free' and digital homicide keys don't earn any CV for giver

They still add +1 to giveaway stats, however. Add in the implicit scummyness of being involved in the transfer of such games, and the seeming artificial stat inflation is going to encourage blacklists perhaps more than just having an "honest ratio" would, leechy or not.

It's important to note that cg, as usual, ignored community input, so despite years of "Free games would be good, but shouldn't give +1", we got a system that some number of us opposed. That's going to breed some general negativity toward such matters, which in conjunction with the nature of the games in question, doesn't engender positive perceptions of the user involved.
Really, the issue is with how the site handles things, but in the meantime, we're nevertheless likely to assume intentional ratio exploitation from the users in question.

Add in the consideration madsession noted above, and you get an overall impression of an exploitative leech who offers the worst possible offerings they can find. The occasional user jumping to a blacklist from that doesn't seem an especially unpredictable event.

Although gifting, even more when you don't get anything back like in your case, is most of the times a good thing, there is something really questionable about gifting "games" by terrible "developers" that does nothing else than destroying the once good industry of gaming, and turning what was once a good opportunity for indie developers into a toilet.

Both as a customer and as a developer, I would like to see that people finally realize that "developers" like this one are the cancer of gaming and would stop supporting them in EVERY SINGLE WAY POSSIBLE, like stopping to make positive "joke" reviews (they really aren't fun unless you're a brainless 6yo) and, also, spreading copies of these "games", either by gifting or by selling them.

I did not blacklist you but I do understand why someone would, if they hate these "games" and "developers" as much as I do, and to be honest it makes me feel better that there is an increasing amount of people that realizes how bad these "developers" are for the gaming industry.

If your intentions are really good, and I somehow think this is the truth, then maybe you should stop supporting bad "developers" by spreading their trash even for free.

You should dont worry that much about blacklists, however with this topic you will get more blacklists...

There is 1 million users in SG, every user can blacklist 1k users, so that is nothing compared to it.

And there will always be people who do not agree with your opinion.

because those games are no value games.

That sums it up nicely.

"People who giveaway these game should be punished!! I want to add them to my blacklist",

It's out-of-sight, out-of-mind for most of us.
Which is why posting any thread that may come across as supporting Digital Homocide or promoting spread of their products tends to be a notably more blacklist-encouraging option than just giving the "games" themselves away is.

I'm not sure about "should be punished", but such games generally don't reflect well on the person giving them away [given that they've essentially been perma-free for most of their lifespan, and have no purpose other than lining the pockets of exploitative "developers"].

It was a pretty notable thing that they were still getting card profits even after the games had been pulled from Steam and Valve had terminated their relationship with them, but given that there are no listings up for any of the drops from the games anymore, that seems to have been rectified. Of course, if the games no longer offer cards, then do they really offer anything at all? So I'm not sure that'd necessarily improve the situation from an SG user perspective any.

Which is something that offers its own problems.

Unless you mean +1 in Steam library; In which case, did they change policy? I know removed games didn't used to add +1.
Either way, yech to that. That only serves to cater to some of the more dubious elements of the SG community.
Then again, if it keeps them away from playable games, perhaps it's a win. :P

Some people collect junk. Digital junk is even better, since it takes up no space and doesn't smell either. Be it collecting Z-grade movies or the worst the Steam library can offer, some enjoy having the worst of the worst.
It is an entirely other matter that now on Steam these collectors pretty much have to own more than half of the entire Steam portfolio.

You have won 3 times as much as you have given away (money wise).
I don't think that people are blacklisting you for giving away these games, but creating / winning giveaways increases the chance that somebody ends up checking your profile.

Another fine example of blacklist craziness.

Oh no you give DH I think they are bad you get blacklist.Seriously?SG Rent A Cops strike again, making up their own law.I get that not all who BL this person was for that reason but it is clear some have.I'm not scared of any blacklist If people want to BL for having and voicing my opinion then they can continue to be a bigot as that is the only reason I can think of as I never been directly rude to another member nor broke any rules.

To the OP you most likely will end up on BL just for making this post and god knows how many for giving away DH just cause. It's best to not make this kind of post if you don't like being BL.Like most things meant for good most of the time, it ends up being used for personal agenda vs actual use.

I get the BL can be used however people see fit but as I have said before just because you "can" just not mean you "should"That being said do as you must with your BL I never blacklist people for opinions or the content they give away only for breaking actual rules and even then they have to be serious things like racism and abusing the system.
