I don't play any of those multiplayer/zombies (just because i haven't been in the mood yet- but it will change someday since ive been there) and also im holding on to see how they develop (being EA and all)...
But i follow then. Watch some streams. Keep some tabs.
And from all ive gathered id say if you really want the zombie experience then don't go with h1z1; Heck i would recommend 7 days over it but seems you already play it.
The reason is a sad one: change of ownership and changes in the game. H1zi was shaping pretty well but since the change the company is focusing on its battle royale version. Nothing of the promised updates. Updates are coming in the form of new cosmetic itens and improvements to the BR version while the zombie horde is being completely ignored. The new owner (who also seens to be one of those rich guys that can't let the companies he buys run like they were) wants to take on Battlegrounds and other BR games.
I had writen a bigger post of recommendations (some not sandbox) but i decided to check up and... you already own then. Theres no sandbox i could recommend with more reliable returns then 7 days, and the most co-op fun Dying Light (not realistic etc but pretty fun co-op). All others turned sour, from nether wasted potential into trash, infestations quasi-scam, DayZ troubles and dwindling population...
But perhaps Unturned may be fun. Its a F2P with those cheap boxy looks but ive seen so many recommend it its now on my playlist/backlog. The looks put me off but ive seen on some videos a wild variety to the game and realistic guns that sounded well (actually well made guns, feedback, etc). Anyway its definetly not like the many cash grab minfecraft look-alikes, it seens to be actually good. Aaaaand its free.

Id go for some monkey or sloths or llamas but i can't deny that my favorites are (oh the cliche) cats. I was born in a house full of them and carried over the tradition. Its impossible not to love then.

Thanks for the reply. I was actually following development of H1 back in 2014 when they first released it but I fell off my radar for a long time. Kinda glad that I didn't purchase it after looking at the reviews.
I agree with your statements on Dying Light. It's one of my longtime favourites, finished it twice. Once on normal, once on hard. I'm actually currently in the middle of a nightmare playthrough and it's so much more demanding than hard was. I'm really looking forward to the free DLC coming over the next few months.
Unturned is a interesting case, but I personally find it somewhat slow paced. I find it fun in bursts but not over a prolonged time period. Maybe if it's myself not getting into the PVP aspect of the game, or that i'm not playing it as the dev intended, I don't know. Once i've explored all of the POI on the map I get kinda bored.

Hey everyone, after my first train I've decided to make a new one, enter here. As always, tell me if anythings out of place or broken and I'll try get right on it.
I've also created a whitelist giveaway for PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS. If you want in, make sure you have no unactivated wins, no duplicate wins, no VAC ban and a ratio above 1:1.
