Hmmm so based on what was said by Lee Williams on official SE :

• everyone gets the same games. It's not random, so you won't get 4 copies of the same game
• SE is kinda allowing people outside of EU (- France) to buy bundle in UK shop here
• all games were already released
• like someone said earlier we get 4 games + bonus. Bonus may or may not be random, Lee said he liked "random" idea thingy but we don't know what he meant.

I'm kinda wondering about this Bonus… it might be thing with greater value than bundle but it also can be worthless junk… like wallpaper or postcard. Well I'm kinda naivly hoping for Realms Reborn… the game is great but methink they are aiming for bigger amount of players + there were many discounts for game already. It's probably not possible… but hey it would be great (even if I already have it on other platform)

I don't know much about any of the FF online games (and honestly cbf googling to find out) but could the bonus possibly be something like two months free for a game with a subscription fee (+ the game itself if it's not free-to-play to begin with)?

Don't kid yourself, they just want people to buy 4 games before knowing which ones, and that you could prolly get them cheaper already. These kinds of deals are worse than pre-orders, nearing the "buy game before it gets announced" level of crap.

Look at gog, you choose from 3 different unknown games, and then decide if you want to buy. That's something you don't have to pull out your wallet up-front to realize you are just wasting money

As far as i know, you can ask a refund for your money if you didn't like the gift or you got all games from Square Enix, but only in Germany or something like that i have read.

The games in the box are all giftable in the form of non-region restricted Steam keys.

I have several friends in the UK.

Need I say more? I simply send the funds to their Paypal, they buy it and give me the keys. Doesn't take Einstein to put 2 and 2 together.

Hmmm I already got Deus Ex, Sleeping Dogs and Just Cause 2 so I'd probably just get duplicates. I'm not enough of a gambler to hope for Tomb Raider and Hitman, sadly.

Hmmm... Square Enix has some games that are cut for german users (low violence stuff), for example Kane & Lynch and Sleeping Dogs.
They claim that all the steam keys in the box are not region-restricted and can be gifted to other people! So this could mean:
a) Such games are NOT included at all
b) Such games are included and germans get international uncut keys
c) Such games are included and germans get cut low-violence keys. This could be possible, because afaik cut keys are not automatically region-restricted. So they can claim that all keys are region free and still the germans get cut keys.

Already got Tomb raider, Hitman and Just cause 2.
I would like Deus Ex hr and Sleeping dogs.

Guess i should take the gamble.
