I think Blood Money, but seeing as that's not available ;-;, I'd say Absolution.

C47 & SA are solid games. Blood money still is the best, absolution is nice too but it felt like too much of a downgrade. The new one is episodic, I don't buy games unless they are complete so idk.

I'm not a fan of Hitman at all. I really like stealth games, but I can't seem to enjoy hitman at all (tried hitman: Codename 47, Blood Money and Absolution).

It disgusts me that Absolution has the most votes after Blood Money. Absolution isn't even Hitman, it's just a shitty linear checkpoint-based piece of shit.

Silent Assassins, Contracts, Blood Money, Hitman (2016) - The only Hitman games worth playing for a true Hitman experience. I'd include Codename 47 but it's a buggy mess and Hitman GO isn't even in the same genre.

Hitman 2. After that the series quickly went downhill.

I haven't started 2016 yet. I wanted the Blood Money preorder perks but beings it's newly released and episodic I'll wait until some patches and all the content is out. Honestly I've had great fun with every game in the series. My "favorite" is Codename 47, though. It's nostalgic and I still have my big box copy from when it first released. :)

After Blood Money ? It's a tie between Absolution or Hitman 2 for me.
Hitman 2 is the one that really defined what the series would be. Absolution tried to do a more coherent story, and was mostly succesful in that, but at the same time it disappointed in terms of level design for the most part.
