After my first million entries, I have won a copy from a 10000 copies giveaway.

You have 229 entries. My first win was around 700 i guess.

Entered 6137 and won 21 :) So i guess if you want to know how often you win. Well not that often, you can enter 10000 and not win a single thing. But when you give away games to get higher lvls you can enter more exclusive GA's. Also being nice can get you whitelist spots to enter whitelist only GA's. I won some pretty sweet games btw :) Subnautica and Saints Row 4 are the best.

You entered less than you guessed, and it will likely take many more. Most giveaways will have hundreds or even thousands of entries, so expect to enter around that number before your first win.

I've won my first giveaway after 50 entries, just when I was about to leave angrily.

500 giveaways is not even a drop in the bucket. More like a drop that evaporated before even reaching into the bucket.

if u create giveaway ur contributor level will increase hence ur probability of winning !!

around 500, but it was massive GA, first avtual win around 750.
And you entered only 229 GAs. Look at average entries Ga you entered have This is how many entries on average you will need to win. You enter everything including obscure indies, bundle shovelware etc? You will probably win around few hundreds entries. you enter only highly wnated AAA games or top indie games? You will have to wait few thousands entries for your first win. Or level up, go to forums, join groups and enter GAs with better win chances - then you will have t wait shorter.

My first win was at around 2175

I've won 14 out of 4033, so I'm pretty happy. It's honestly less about winning and more about lurking/participation in the community for me though, as I have most of the games I want to play right now and everything on my wishlist can honestly wait (Except Kindred Spirits on the Roof, but that costs too damn much).

The sad thing is even if I magically got every game on my wishlist, I'd probably ignore them for the most part and just keep on playing Path of Exile.
