Yes, before I even knew about the free keys I voted. I shared it with a bunch of people too who also voted. Hopefully the free keys will come soon!

Cue the "I voted but didn't know I had to comment" whines and "I did everything but no key" lies!

Or the "I didn't know we had to comment in an unspecified place, so I posted in one of the topics that were in the discussions tab" which is likely to happen to users, like with the last game.

"Vote for my game on Steam Greenlight and we'll send you a key later maybe some of the time but usually not" is basically one half step above phishing scams so no, no I didn't. The entire thing has a real taint at this point and Valve needs to really clean up how Greenlight works in general.

Hell yeah, I played it on PSP back in the day and it was awesome. Woulda voted for it even if there wasn't a key. It's actually kind of a sad thing that they did this promotion, because it means a bunch of people probably dismissed it as one of "those" games even though it rocks. At the same time, I'm not complaining about getting a great game for free. They followed through on their Reload promotion too, so I have faith in these people.

Yes I did :D
For those wondering how you'll get your key, the developer posted this in the discussion tab:
On Monday we will post an announcement with a URL and exact instructions. Essentially it will work like this: If you are eligible for a free key, click the URL and you will go to a key server. Use your Steam ID to login and it serves you a key. Use key, love Gurumin, tell your friends to support us so we can keep bring over great games. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

I don't think they will, they did the same thing with Heavy Fire: Afghanistan and they stood up to their promise. Hope it happens sooner than later though :D
Edit: and got it

Go to http://whosgamingnow.net/ devs normally do this there, but like 95% of the games where devs ask you to vote to get it for free are just crap, Gurumin is one of those 5%.

I think I did. It's kind of hard to remember though.

I did, sadly I find that I did not join the group, I simply voted for it. Thus, no free keys for me.

Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure comes to Steam tomorrow. I was looking at it and thought "Oh, this game on Steam. It looks pretty cool." So I was gearing up to buy it until I looked on the discussions and saw people asking when they would get their free Steam keys. So then I looked in to it and realized "Oh, I'm in the group. I guess that means I voted for it back in July or so." So if they really do deliver, then this is really awesome because I completely forgot that I voted for this game. xD
So, did you vote for this game on Greenlight?
