Metabans??

So, some kid in my neighborhood used my origin id to play BF3 before it went free. Now I am trying to login only to find out that nick is banned. I mean seriously!!!!!

Can someone shed some lights here. I've never played BF3 or used origin so I've no idea what is metabans? Is it origin equivalent of VAC? Reversible or not?

P.S.- That kid swore he did nothing. But I highly doubt it.

ban for cheating, no was of getting it rid of, you might as well create another account if you want to play BF of any type (meta bans carry from BF2-4)
