Who will win ESL One Katowice 2015?
They didn't make it close to the final lol. They finished second in their group during the group stage and took a serious beating against LDLC in the quarterfinals...........until they started using that boost spot. It was an overall embarrassing performance from them. Definitely not what their fans were expecting.

well, its was 1-1 on maps before overpass.ofc they would loose it without boost. but its 2015 now=big money, big motivation. u cant just ezy pass through top 4 top teams like few years ago. need 2 fight like a lions :)

You do realize according to the rules of DreamHack Winter 2014 the boost was allowed? LDLC wanted to continue playing from half-time score but the people that analyzed the game saw BOTH teams using unfair adventages so the game would have been restarted at 0-0, BUT Fnatic's organization chose to back out of the tournament?

Please re-read my text, the boost WAS allowed, the reason all the shit came up was because according to the rules of DHW 2014 it WAS allowed, but according to the rules in DHS 2014 it WAS NOT allowed.

I'm a fan of Hellraisers. I like their rushing tactics.
I dont think they will make it far though.
I'm happy so see Keyd Stars and Vox Eminor, looking forward to their matches.
And I'm curious to see how the NA teams will perform, especially CLG. Dont have too high expectations tbh.
Based on last couple of months I'd say Fnatic has the biggest chance to win this. They are really hard to beat (and I do disregard those odd losses every now and then).
EnvyUs will be a finalist as well I think, but Fnatic usually beats EnyUs so if I was going to bet I'll go for the Swedes.
I think NiP aint there yet, because of the new guy. Virtus Pro is too inconsistent.
Titan, Na'Vi and TSM are strong as well imo but I dont see them making it to the finals
My guess

Hellraisers have my support too. I was really rooting for them during Dreamhack winter and they actually beat Fnatic on their own map Mirage. Was really impressed with their gameplay and hope they can continue to surprise at this major.
CLG are another team that have the potential to do well. This is their first major however so they might end up being just another Cloud 9 disappointment. They're still a wildcard though!
You're definitely right about Envy losing to Fnatic. They just can't manage to best them. I honestly think Envy will finish behind NiP and Virtus.pro based on their recent matches. Allu has really proven his worth on NiP (surprisingly), and Virtus.pro are playing on their home turf.
Overall I think this will be an interesting tourney. Especially if an underdog makes it out of the group stages and beyond. Looking at you CLG and Vox.

The next CS:GO major ESL One Katowice 2015 is almost here! Between the 12-15th of March, 16 professional teams will battle for a first place $100,000 prize in Katowice, Poland.
I've made this thread to keep track of which team sgift users expect/want to win. For many of you this will be gibberish, but for those out there who enjoy the CS:GO esports scene (like myself), we are interested to see your opinions.
Feel free to share any relevant information about your thoughts regarding this major.
EDIT: This poll is not necessarily who you think will win, but who you are primarily supporting!
A screencap for the predictions in case people decide to change their votes ;)
