The next CS:GO major ESL One Katowice 2015 is almost here! Between the 12-15th of March, 16 professional teams will battle for a first place $100,000 prize in Katowice, Poland.

I've made this thread to keep track of which team sgift users expect/want to win. For many of you this will be gibberish, but for those out there who enjoy the CS:GO esports scene (like myself), we are interested to see your opinions.

Feel free to share any relevant information about your thoughts regarding this major.

EDIT: This poll is not necessarily who you think will win, but who you are primarily supporting!

A screencap for the predictions in case people decide to change their votes ;)

I'm not a fan of "official" MM games or big teams so I don't know who's better or not (actually don't know at all!) so googled it and choose this for first day matches (12th march):
Group A - Natus Vincere and Fnatic
Group B - EnVyUs and Titan
Group C - Ninjas in Pyjamas and Counter Logic Gaming
Group D - Virtus.Pro and TSM Kinguin

as i said those are results from a google search because i have no knowledge of this topic and this were the one that most people voted for, except for Counter Logic Gaming and TSM Kinguin where a lot of people chosen HellRaisers and Cloud9 (G2A? I always thought that the team name was only cloud9), this games i will watch just like last year (free cases :P) when Cloud9 really surprised me there with that comeback against NIP (i think), so this year i will bet on the new teams and hope i did the right decisions :3

I havent seen many games of Vox Eminor, Keyd and CLG (because of the timezones). So I'm gonna watch their first match for sure.
And I also keep an eye on the games I bet on ofcourse.

G2A and Kinguin are teamsponsors, I think they need to do that because of a contract. Cloud9 and TSM is the team name.

Now I can't help it. I need sneaky peaks too.

Thanks for the bad habit.

Its a very slow day here without any meetings and no colleagues around as well. I'm good.

Do you have to watch it through CS:GO client or you can watch it on Twitch and still be able to get drops? (As long as your account is linked of course)

Both get drops

Any idea how pins will work? I mean this "matching steam pin" - will it be a tradable inventory item or just a badge on your in-game profile? Sorry if this is dumb question, but I've never played CS.

They are selling physical pins at the event. Each person is only allowed to purchase a certain amount. With the physical pin there is a code that can be entered in Steam to give the in-game version as well.

Rationed goods. No point taking a big bag to the event then :)

I think its a badge and not tradable

Is it the first time the're doing something like that?

There's always something but its the first time they are giving these pins

Okay, one more question. How long does a match take, so I can at least see something if I decide to pay a visit to the event.

BO 1 max 1.5 hours (3 minutes each round), but probably around 40 minutes - 1 hour. And then theres the possibility of overtime if it ends 15-15.
BO3, BO1 x 3 ;)

I've predicted both to pass the group stage, but I'm hoping Titan win simply because I don't like Envy lol

Penta looked really weak and LGB seems to be no match for Titan.
But Titan choked and kennys played bad, who knows what will happen ;)

Lol, my predictions are at suckage level. Still a little in plus though, small bets on the lost ones, big on the ones I won. I seem to always pick the wrong ones when betting on an underdog.

for today (13th) I will vote for Fnatic, EnVyUs, Virtus.Pro and NIP
honestly i'm not so sure about Team EnVyUs, any opinions? :s

I'm voting the same. I think EnvyUs are the weakest out of that group, based on their performance so far.

Getting gold is tough. Especially when teams like Keydstars win :/

I can only afford to make one more mistake if I want gold.
