Good afternoon, the winner of my last giveaway has posted a message in it asking to request a new winner because he has won it twice in the same day.
I did requested a new winner but after 1 day the ticket is still pending, since my other tickets are pending after 2 years, I ask what should I do?
Just wait that it will be approved?

I'm not sure if support ever retires here on SG or if it's more like Hibernation.
There is (at least) one support member who (to my knowledge) hasn't answered a ticket in years but still has support status.
Don't get me wrong, this is not ment as critique on that support member. I'm rather trying to point out that it (currently) doesn't matter if somebody lays down their position offically or just goes inactive.

It's obvious that Crazee and Raiden are no longer active. I've never seen any comments from either, nor has either ever handled one of my tickets. I've seen regular community engagement and ticket handling from everyone else.

Yes, just wait for it to be approved. I believe re-roll requests have a higher priority than some of the other support tickets.
Hopefully it gets approved soon. It also helps if the winner writes on the giveaway that they accept a re-roll just so it is less work for support and you can just link them.

too much users - not enough staff...

i worked on several big and small companies and communities and most teams just don't have enough people for such a big number of users... SG needs much more staff for a "good" support...

Actually, we should imo because it's been 5 years and SG still doesn't have a proper Support system in place, it's just a few volunteers sacrifices randomly doing whatever tickets they are allowed to access, and no one besides cg(?) looking at new Support volunteers.
The support staff are great, the system is meh imho ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Also, I mean we should criticise and not engage in a vociferous ruckus ୧༼ಠ益ಠ༽୨ because that might lead to a better SGtopia 3.0 incoming o: 😺✌
