Dota 2 is getting it's first community driven update!

Yes, you read it right: Volvo decided to listen the players!

Here are the features that will be implemented:

-Community Moderators
A selected bunch of players and personalities from the community have now been appointed as Moderators who will help tend to Reports from users. These moderators will have the following abilities to help them out tend to their role.
Ban players
Suspend users (temporary bans)
Mute users
Lift the above
Tools for these moderators will be available in the Community Tab.

-Surrender Option (only in Unranked)
Users will be able to vote using the new in-game UI. When 4 out of 5 players from the same team vote positive, the game will end in the next 10 seconds and the opposition team will be awarded the win. If the enemy team has a player who abandoned the game, he will still get a loss.

-Region Locking
Users who wish to play with players only from their region can now tick the new option that will confine them to a single region and a single language preference.
This is optional and regular users do not have to use them if they don't want.
Expect queue times drastically increased.

-Community Spotlights
Artists in the community will be able to submit their artwork to the Workshop which can be voted on by the users. Top submissions will be featured in-game. Artists will gain a share of the money if their work is used in any of the revenue aspects of the game.
You can find these artworks in the new galleries on the Library Pages
New gallery sub-tab under the Community Tab.
Currently spotlighted artists include Kunkka, biggreenpepper & Danidem.

-SPRING SECRETS
The Colony brings in the most requested features by the members of the community but the fun does not end there.
The sun shines upon us this season but nature always has its own way of balancing things. Somewhere down in the abyss, a dark power stirs.
Brace yourselves! But if you don't want to, you can try to uncover the Secret on your own.
