Just yesterday i have tried to activate one of remaining unactivated games (Batman Arkham City) from a humble bundle purchased long ago (Humble WB) and i cant activate it. There is still button like it wants to automatically add it to my steam acc but that doesn't work. I have tried to contact humble support but i'm still waiting for their answer. just asking here has anybody been in the same situation and what happens with old humble keys?

If I remember right someone had a similar issue with an old Bioshock key, but support resolved it rather quickly.

Can't answer that question unfortunately. I've used all the keys that required oauth, so I don't know what happened to the unused ones.

The thing with bioshock (only the first game) was that the Steam-key vanished completely from the bundle page for some people. Coincidentally (or maybe not) Bioshock (One or Two or both?) were taken from the store. I believe there were some issues concerning the music licenses.

Don't they have it somewhere in their FAQ to activate this stuff in 30 or 60 days because unused keys will be sent back?
I know at least one bundle site states this, but there if you just reveal the key it won't be sent back and will be available forever. But with HB's old "connect to Steam" method maybe they assumed you don't want the game.

Indie Gala states this, but that's the unbought keys that are sent back.
Your keys will be available forever, even if you don't reveal them, but they advise you to activate them as soon as possible, because if there's an issue with your key, it's obviously harder for them to provide you a new one after they sent the unsold keys back.

EDIT: here's the exact quote from IG

PLEASE ACTIVATE YOUR KEYS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Your keys and your account will NEVER expire. You can activate your keys even after a year has passed.
Most of the unsold keys are sent back to the vendor 60 days after the bundle ends, so replacing keys after this period may be difficult.

I still get "Your Steam account already owns this game" if I try to redeem one, so it's definitely doing something.

I'd recommend going to your account settings, unlink your account and then link it again.
