i dunno - my current computer has to turn most of the detail wayyyy down for a lot of games, especially racing - it sucks but i'm just a few parts away (Windows 7, RAM, and a big-assed HDD) from a major upgrade that should have me quite happy with all but stuff that's coming out riiiiiiiigght NOW

That's right most PC gamers have to use minimum settings since the average PC according to the Steam hardware survey January 2013 looks like this
Intel Dual Core 2.66 GHz
nVIDIA GeForce GTS 450
4 GB RAM
Next-gen consoles are way ahead of the average Steam PC
AMD 8 core
AMD HD 7970M = HD 7850 = GTX 660
