It will be. Always wanted to play the games in this pack since the first time I ever heard about them, but they've always been on sites I don't really want to buy from or I just haven't had enough cash. Really hoping they come out on Steam soon. If not, I'll just buy from GOG. Have an account there already.

This will be on Steam soon enough and there is a big Baldur's Gate announcement coming soon. Six hours and five minutes left as of this writing, but I believe it to depend on your time zone.

Why? Games are games no matter where you get them from. I can understand wanting a digital version over a physical copy or vice-versa, but not why someone would prefer one delivery system over another.

Are the old Baldur's Gate games coming to Steam or is this announcement for some new BG I don't know about?

Planescape, BG/BG2, ToEE, and ID/ID2 all have entries. We don't yet know for sure what the announcement is about.

It's going to be a HD remake, I think. I went into the source to grab the music and found this. "/files/overhaul/theme.mp3" Either a hell of a red herring or it's a remake.
