I guess if you asked around it'd be either "shameful anime catgirl pornography" or "a genuinely charming and entertaining story about super kawaii desu catgirls. Also breasts, and sex if you patch it, but it's totally not about that or anything".
It's a visual novel, or at least what qualifies as one on Steam. Typically they're interactive (making decisions that change the story) but from what I've heard of Nekopara there's no decision making so it's a straight up story. Hit enter, read text/hear dialogue, maybe get a new visual, repeat. This one's gimmick, besides the whole catgirl thing, is that the characters are animated instead of still images like normal, so if you get bored you can hit a key on your keyboard to make the characters jump for no reason causing their breasts to bounce (dead f'in serious). Also it's an adult game outside of Steam.

Apart for almost no ingame explanation or help page. it's pretty much perfect.
If there is a good sale on it i'll give some away. By which i mean -75% or better.
You also need a lot of commitment, 1 map can easily take 1, 2 or more hours. (There is a save option)

I guess I found a way to describe the game. Assuming you know supreme commander (2)
So you take supreme commander, and turn it into a tower defense game.
