Pretty good deal? Since it has some new content as well.

There's no new content. The DLC won't even be available at launch and you'll have to pay extra for it. It's a great game but the remaster does not seem to change much.
I think the price would be adequate if you own the base game but don't have the DLCs.
You will get the remaster + access to the 2 DLCs (which used to sell for ~5 USD each on steam sales) for $20.

Remasters should be free for original version owners, pardon me. They should be about attracting new players, not about making old players pay twice basically for the same product, that's just wrong.

If THQ Nordic was the company who released the original version I would completely agree with you.
But the original publisher was EA/38 Studios. THQ Nordic bought the rights to the IP and the game, and are the ones putting out this re-release. They haven't seen a single cent from anyone who purchased the original game so it seems unfair to assume they should give this away for free to people who gave their money to a different publisher.
I feel a 60% discount (which also works for the bundle that will include their brand new expansion next year) is completely fair.

Even if agreed with you, there's a bit of new info. They've apparently already published some of the regional prices. Apparently the full price of the game for my region (Russia) will be 1929 rubles. For reference, Cyberpunk costs 1999 rubles (that's pretty much a standard for a new $60 AAA game), but THQ Nordic have decided that that's their equivalent for $40 remake of a decade-old game. So no, thank you, I'm not satisfied with the price.

Isn't it technically the same product? As far as I understood, the new expansion isn't included in the remaster. You can buy it separatelly. What bothers me the most about this is the fact that the original has many big bugs and that they should at least, fix the major ones to make it playable.

I don't feel like I can argue against their choice. With something like >observer, which is a recent game remastered by the same people who published it first, I feel like the remaster should be free. In this case, with 8 years and a new studio in the picture, it's reasonable.

Who’s the studio behind the game? Will developers of the original game be involved in the remaster?
The studio behind Re-Reckoning is KAIKO, a long-term partner of THQ Nordic - they already brought you Legend of Kay Anniversary, Darksiders Warmastered Edition, and Red Faction Guerilla Re-MARS-tered. The original devs aren’t officially involved but always happy to support us with a friendly hint or two when we need it.

If you own the original game on Steam you will get a 50% discount on the re-release. And this will stack with the launch 10% discount they're going to be doing as well. Also, this applies to the base game (MSRP $39.99) or the Fate Edition (MSRP $54.99), which is the bundle that will include the brand new expansion when it releases next year. This offer will run for two months.
This deal does not apply to people who own the game on Origin though.
