You couldn't afford a $3.74 game, but you COULD afford to buy $2820.12 USD worth of other games?

You might have "more friends to BS with and or potentially game with" if you didn't whinge so much. ("I entered every possible Section 8: Prejudice game being offered thus far in hopes of winning a copy, and unfortunately lost every single one." "I overlooked this game when I had the financial means of buying it back then, and now I regret not buying it. Today it's on sale for a paltry $3.74 and I don't get my Social Security Disability Income check until the first of the month." "Although I didn't win any of these entries, and my chances of ever winning anything again is next to nil[...]") It sounds king of like begging for this game, although I'm sure you would never do that.
Anyway, HOW could you being physically challenged matter to online gaming? Seriously. So, why bring it up? Why tell people about it, if not for sympathy? The thing is, people don't want to be friends with someone they pity, yeah? A way to make sure your online friends aren't bothered by your situation is to keep it to yourself.
Sorry if I'm raining on the pity party. YOU have the power to control how others perceive you online.

Only to say that steam calculator have some games wrong
" Counter-Strike: Condition Zero Deleted Scenes $99.99 USD"
"Dota 2 $99.99 USD"
True value of that would bee 2620,14$
To OP
Well if he is like me who buy games only in promotion/sales (with few exceptions with i bought full value retail games (key worked on steam)) and bundles, you can reach that amount. I save when i can and buy if i can, when i can't ,well, i will have another opportunities. You just need to wait and save some to the next sale, and don't worry being disabled just stick to you truly are

I simply wrote how I felt. Yes, I really wanted to win a copy of Section 8, but no I didn't win any copy nor do I have $3.74 to buy it. Yes, I can see how this comes off as begging, however I explicitly said "not" to feel sorry for me. The timing of this post could have been better, as it's 3:00am and I'm a bit tired.
The moral story of how I was hoping to project this out was that people should be sincerely thankful for what others have provided them. Take me for example, as I took this game for granted by over looking it's value to me. I can't even afford to buy it at 75% off now. Always be thankful for something being offered, especially after you enter for it Some people enter giveaways just to win anything, and that in and of itself deters those who really want it away.
Regarding what my Steam account may or may not be worth is irrelevant. My purchases have been spread out over 6 years of being a Steam Member. Many of those purchases are from Summer and Christmas sales when said games we're 50-90% off. After rent, bills, food etc., I have a few dollars left each month and either buy myself something that might be on sale, or buy a gift for a friend on my friends list, since they themselves gift me things from time to time.
Regarding my disability, well, It may matter to others depending on the game, as my skill set would be challenging for me. Such as if we we're playing a game which required precision, such as World of Warcraft raiding encounters. So, I like to be honest about who I am. And inform those who I game with that I have physical limitations that may effect my abilities to perform certain situations. If who I am bothers someone then I can do without them. It took many years for myself to finally come to terms and accept who I am.

I remember you.
You begged for games on Steam forums by pretending to befriend anyone who wants to be your friend. And highlighting your disability at the same time so you can draw some sympathy.
Yeah, I bloody remember you! GODDAMMN IT YOU'RE AT IT AGAIN!

So... It's another cleverly disguised begging thread?

Hey all,
First of all, I am personally very thankful to all the wonderful people on here who generously give away so many different titles. I Can't begin to imagine the looks on some of these winners faces who we're lucky enough to have received them. Unfortunately I do sadly read about how some winners of these giveaways end up profiting off of these, simply by having multiple accounts to enter with, or trading their wins for something else etc. At the end of the day so to speak, I truly hope the recipients of these fantastic giveaways take a moment of their time to sincerely thank the person who provided the giveaway.
I entered every possible Section 8: Prejudice game being offered thus far in hopes of winning a copy, and unfortunately lost every single one. After reading and hearing about this game really made me itch to want it. I overlooked this game when I had the financial means of buying it back then, and now I regret not buying it. Today it's on sale for a paltry $3.74 and I don't get my Social Security Disability Income check until the first of the month.
Although I would love to secure a copy of the game to enjoy playing with my friends and others, I didn't write this message in hopes of others feeling sorry for me etc. I wrote this because I feel in my opinion all the people who selfishlessly offer all of these giveaways, be it publicly or privately aren't even really thanked for their generosity. Although I didn't win any of these entries, and my chances of ever winning anything again is next to nil, that doesn't mean that my appreciation and admiration for everyone involved in making someone happy ever stops.
I wrote in a previous paragraph that I receive disability income. In case anyone wonders is because I am physically disabled and wheelchair bound. I am what I am, because that's the hand I was dealt with. Again, this post wasn't created to feel sorry for me. I simply wanted to share with everyone that there are a few members on this site who sincerely appreciate what the contributors are doing for others.
The part I will say that kinda hurts me is the social aspect of life. It isn't easy for me to try and make friends out in the public. Just as I'm sure it isn't necessarily easy for them to be friends with me. So Luckily I am able to be social and open about things online. I have a few online friends who aren't bothered by my situation, and I have others who I enjoy gaming with.
I am always looking for more friends to BS with and or potentially game with, so if your OK with my being physically challenged, or want to get to know me more or even have questions, feel free to add me via Steam. I Hope to meet more of you as time moves on, and hopefully I'll have a couple dollars here and there which I would like to contribute to the community in the form of giveaways. Thanks for reading, and again thank you to all the contributors for making this a possibility for those who receive your gifts.
