Hello.

I think that steamgifts have to add a distinction if the game is a key or a gift because if I buy a game of the bundle list, if I have a steamgift and not a key (from a bundle), I'll have 100% of value.

EDIT: Then we could see if the game is a key or a gift (and we can have an advanced search).

Thanks.

No. Been discussed over 1000 times. If you give away games for CV you are doing it wrong

You would never get the value. People lie. That will never change.

The bundle list is better considered as a 'too cheap' list - there are games which were technically bundled that aren't on the list, and games which were never bundled but are on the list. For this to work, there'd need to be a separate list for which gifts are valid, there'd need to be a bot similar to Playblink's that would handle gift giveaways, and ultimately it'd just be a lot of effort for the staff, and additional hassle for the users, to make a system which wouldn't really be much better than the one currently in place. Personally I'd rather see the bundle list (and, for the most part, CV) abolished, but that's never going to happen either.

Why does no one seem to realize, that CV isn't about entering higher-tier giveaways, and getting more crap, it's about contribution, and time spent on Steamgifts... I think it's just fine the way it is.

Because CV isn't an accurate measure of contribution, but it is an accurate measure of what CV's worth of giveaways you're able to enter.
