Editing polls

As someone who occasionally has typos in poll options I would prefer to be able to edit everything, but with a way for others to see the changes.

See this thread for other poll-related potential enhancements (none of which will ever be implemented).

it would be easier if people took 2 minutes to review what they wrote before posting a thread :3

Bump. I don't know why i keep bumping suggestion threads. But stable system is better then constantly changing one imo.

I disagree. You could retroactively turn all of steamgifts into sadistic puppy eaters. It's too much power to not be abused.

I'd say you should be able to edit polls but when you do, the current votes are all removed. That way you don't have to deal with people changing the answer your voted for or the question being asked.

Ex:

1. Do you like turtles?
   • yes (80%)
   • no (20%)

After change

2. Are hate crimes a good prank?
   • yes (0%)
   • no (0%)

As opposed to

3. Are hate crimes a good prank?
   • yes (80%)
   • no(20%)

I know it's old but it would be good to be able to change poll options as long as noone has voted already. This way you could fix some stupid typos if the topic is still closed.
