Has the time come to IGNore Humble Choice bundles, or are they still interesting for you?

[I like the spotlight game(s)] Pretty surprising even for me, but I am actually interested in Deep Rock Galactic and Necromunda: Hired Gun (even if it comes without the DLCs).
[Only with limited deal] Regardless of what people say, $6 for these 8 good games is a steal.
[Happy] This seems to be a pretty strong bundle, in my opinion. I can’t understand why everyone is complaining…
[Neutral] This lineup doesn't tickle my pickle, but I'm not extremely sour on it either… I’m undecided.
[Pause] It's getting harder and harder for me to see the positive side of keeping my subscription up.
[Disappointed, lineup] Pretty poor headliners this month, as expected from the continuous $6 promotions. Good thing though, since I spent my bundle budget on the Steam sale anyway.
[Canceling the subscription] Well, Humble Bundle really knows how to put the "humble" in its lineup and I’m tired of having to pause. Every. Single. Month.
[Choicetato] Ah, you were expecting No Man's Sky? ROFL
[Obligatory autocharge option] Dammit, I forgot to pause this month. Again.
[Obligatory sale option] OMG, I just bought these in the sale. Time to refund, I guess!

Choice has been on a steady downtrend lately, sucks to see. I'd say it peaked in March and its quality has only been going down since. There's barely one half-decent game in here...

What are you on about? Deep Rock has been lauded for ages.

Lawn mowing simulator..like c'mon.
The only games i am interested are Yes Your Grace and ATOM, and i already own Necromuda and Deep Rock Galactic, so it's definetely skip..

Guess it's not bad for 5€.

Sucks that it's not the first Atom RPG (which hasn't been in choice iirc.)

6$ is 5.85€, I think I even paid a little bit more than 6€ last month with the paypal fees.

If you select to pay in EUR from Humble, it's 5€. (and full price is also only 10€).

how did you do that ? I'm on the classic plan, maybe that's the problem. Should I cancel to pay in euro ?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yes. Cancel or change plan. There is no benefit to the classic plan anymore.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yep. I cancelled mine and pay in euro. It's €9.99 a month. You're probably playing €11 on classic.

Legend of the Keeper is on my wl, and Necromunda: Hired Gun seems interesting for an afternoon or two... but yeah, glad I cancelled last month. Got the same offer first for 1 month, then for 3... no thanks.

I guess you're right. I didn't know that you were the one here deciding about people gaming preferences. Next time I want to buy a game or a bundle I'll ask you about your game preferences instead of mine.

Everyone has different preferences on games, so you shouldn't be too interested about their ones

That's not what I said though, is it? That would be the equivalent to saying people who play games on their phones are not true gamers.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

You are exactly saying: No true gamer would not like this bundle.

He, a gamer, doesn't like the bundle, therefore he is not a true gamer.

You made a literal exact example of this logical fallacy.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

You added true in there, so no.

Obviously, to match the titling "no true Scotsman". You are literally using the logical fallacy. I am done with you now. Bye.

Instant buy with the $6 coupon for Deep Rock Galactic. I also participated in the beta of Yes, Your Grace and it was also quite a nice game, so this month is pretty good.

I'm most excited for Yes, Your Grace. I'm not big on multiplayer but I've heard how great Deep Rock Galactic is from several people so I will give it a try. Legend of Keepers was also on my wishlist. Atom RPG looks good. I might actually enjoy mowing digital lawns, who knows? Not a bad bundle, imo.

deep rock galactic is only good if u play it with friends though

I've heard the DRG community is very friendly and you can play with randoms. I'm sure there are discords for finding people to play with, too.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

oh yeah no that is for sure possible but I wouldnt recommend the game on its own. Its only fun if you also talk while playing and stuff the gameplay on its own isnt gonna keep u interested for long imo

Permalink

That totally makes sense. I'm going to give it a try but it is outside of my normal comfort zone so you might be right and I might not enjoy it for long.

well if you want and we have the time I can also join you for a game :)

Permalink

I have over 200 hours in DRG and I'm not big on multiplayer either these days. With that said, solo play is pretty fun but the game really does shine in multi. Don't be afraid to use the public matchmaking as the community, for the most part, is super helpful and friendly too.

Gave Deep Rock to a friend as I am not interested in it in the slightest, but Necromunda looks like something I'd like. Everything else might be trade fodder.

Necromunda and DRG are the only worthwhile games here, but I got those already. The other games look like complete garbage. Easy skip for me.

Played a lot of DRG, and the game is very fun. But at some point i had done most things the game could offer and therefore i moved on. May pick it up again sometime.
