I actually won a game here after spending about 200 points on adding myself to games I'd like to own (basically two days worth of points).

Maybe I was lucky, maybe it was karma for gifting a game on this site (planning to offer more)... I don't know.

2 months ago I won my first game here. Just this week, I won 2 more games. One of the 2 was a slightly less popular quickie tho..
I'm at 771 entries, so I guess I am slightly luckier than these statistics.

InTraining, how do you know if you won a giveaway?

Do you receive a notification on the "View Won" tab? I was wondering about that, since not even the FAQ explains that. It's probably that, but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks for the help!

You could win a gift only with one entry. Statistics don't say that when you have 0,29% chance to win something, you have to enter 345 times for it. You could win it on the first try, the second, the 355th, or even the 1000th. But when your entries are close to infinity, then you will win 0,29% of the times...

That figure seems rather large. Most of the decent (non-private) giveaways have 600+ entries. Often 1000+. (Which'd be a chance of 0.17%-0.010%)

I don't think the odds can be so universal. Some games have many more entries than others on average.
