I love this puzzle, but I just am not good at these types of puzzles. I might actually make a puzzle like this someday, but I highly doubt anyone will solve it.

Yeah, I guess it's not or at least a sound that has nothing to do with cats or kittens.
But honestly you did a brilliant job in obscuring. I mean just look at the amount of guesses. People are trying hard.
And the new hint for No 9 is .......well it made me spend another hour, and I'm not even a fraction closer.

I only got 4, 5, 6 and 10 on my own. I was close with #1, but the hint made me think there have to be numbers. And on #7 I kept thinking of things like "descend" or "drown" because falling doesn't normally mesh with underwater for me, now if you used a Douglas Adams reference, it'd probably be the first thing to pop in my head :)

Ah well I only got one of those, I don't know about anyone else but sometimes when you look at a picture and see an incorrect answer your brain won't re-evaluate it, even if it is the complete wrong musical genre, its also fascinating to see how different other people thing when they see an image
I know for number 11 all I could see was ZZ Top -- now I know the answer the clues seem obvious
same goes for number 5 all I could see was faith no more (Epic was probably their biggets song)
Q9 - Mansun (from Chester closeish to Wales), then Moby "We are all made of stars"
Q3 - was the most frustrating as i had nebulous fleeting memories of an album cover from about 30years ago
I am also curious does the itstoohard doohickey tell you what the most common incorrect guess for each question were
