Host must open (forward) port 27015 on his/her router and create a game, then send his IP address to people who want to join. You will have to use Google to find out your IP because the console will tell you it's 192.168.0.1 (or whatever your local IP is) but that of course won't work. Then they have to type into console "connect XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:27015" without quotation marks where XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX is your real IP. Works like a charm.

Btw, the game is really strange and quite difficult in multiplayer.

It's illegal to pay for mods.
Even though this is a standalone version people would of bought the original half-life to play the mod making a paid version useless.

I played through most of the co-op campaign a few hours ago, it's pretty fun and somewhat scary/creepy. The single player campaign is better, though.

Sorry, you're misleading it with Slender. Cry of Fear has jumpscares, yes, but they're far apart from each other and very different every time.

Without the jump scares, it still manages to be one of the scariest games around.

I played for 30 minutes and it scared me more than any game i've played =p
