Warband.

It's better than the original in every way and Fire & Sword is just badly made. With the Napoleonic Wars DLC, F&S is made redundant anyway.

I played the first one a ton more than WF&S, never played Warband though, though in my opinion I don't think it's much better than the original or WF&S

Warband wins, hands down in every aspect I can think of. Play it with one or more mods, they are really plentiful and add A LOT.

I've heard Warband. I got the original cus there are some REALLY cool mods (Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Western, and more), and I don't think those are on Warband (though maybe some day). So whether you want the core game get Warband, or more interesting mods get the original.

Warband is by far the best. If you want to play multiplayer, the Napoleonic Wars DLC is awesome.

warband + floris mod pack or prophecy of pendor, there is even starwars and lotr mods, mods make warband epic, even civil war mods and whatnot

edit: war of the roses isnt bad either, and M&B Bannerlord will hopefuly be super epic uberawsomeness

Like most, I preferred Warband.
While With Fire & Sword seems nice with the guns and grenades, it quickly feels cluncky and loses the impact that the 1st games made.
